Had a fantastic dinner at Yellow Chilli last night! The food was delicious, and the staff was super welcoming, we arrived near closing time. What really stood out was our server, maybe a new trainee. I'm so bad with names and I already forgot her name, but she was exceptionally attentive and engaging. She actually introduced herself, which you don't usually see, and she asked about our day, checking on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. She told us about the signature sham swera and it was actually the best. Her warm attitude really made the experience special, and it's hard to believe she's new! Despite one slightly rude manager, the overall service was fantastic. Definitely recommend!

I would say one of the worst restaurants I have been to. We were 7 ppl who went with high expectations since it’s Sanjeev kapoor’s restaurant but it was nothing like it. The service was very slow we got our food after more than an hour of ordering. When we asked about the delay they said some kitchen emergency hence the delay they should have informed about it without us asking first. The Mango curry Prawns we ordered were stinking and had gone bad. They replaced it with the butter chicken which we took home but after my friend had it she got food poisoning. The worst part is for all this they charged us gratuity of 18% which was not even worth it. I would never ever recommend this place. I have never made such a negative review until now!! Also their Nalli Rogan Josh was so bad that the meat was not even coming out of the bone. It took two people to take it out!

Most recent - Visited after a long time today. Food was decent, could have been a bit more spicy as per request. Our server Aiman was great. Looking forward to come back again for the temple menu ! Updated my review reflecting today's experience.

3 years ago - Ordered Chole Bhatura, Amritsar Kulcha and Shahi Tukda. Very disappointed. This was our first time trying the restaurant. This is definitely not what Chef Sanjeev would approve of. One star for Shahi Tukda. Rest was just tasteless.

One of the better Indian restaurants that we’ve come across in Greater Vancouver. While we’ve been ordering from here, this was our first time dining in. We had made a reservation anticipating crowd on a Sunday, but surprisingly the place was not crowded at all.

Recommended: Lalla Mussa Dal, Tandoori Chicken Lollipops, Garlic Naan, some Tandoori Murgh that’s stuffed with lamb mince

Not Recommended: Shaam Savera

Our server, Simran, was very polite and gave good recommendations! She was sweet enough to bring us an icecream as we were celebrating our anniversary! That simply won us over. ♥️

Thank you to the chef, and Simran, for a wonderful dinner experience. We shall be back :)
