Amazing service, food, and location. We had a beautiful table by a window overlooking the bay - an incredible setting for a cafe! Our group ordered the calamari, coconut prawns, mussels, and fish and chips, and it was all delicious! Our server was hilarious, which added to the wonderful experience.

Like other reviewers, we found the setting wonderful but the food was not great. My wife’s salmon was over cooked and dry which is unforgivable here on the west coast. My son’s burger was burnt and no different than we could get anywhere else. The prices outstripped the quality by a long shot as well.

I hate giving any restaurant a 1 ⭐️ Review But a piece of advice for anybody driving ALL the way out to Genoa Bay, they do Not take walk-ins call ahead and make a reservation. We would have been more than happy to wait to be severed but we were declined service. I overheard it was because of short staffing but was told it was because of the sitting arrangements….. I look forward to giving this place a chance again but walked out very disappointed

We ordered two bowls of seafood chowder and Parmesan fries. The seafood chowder smelled and tasted burnt/smoky. Not sure if that’s their style but it wasn’t good. The fries were mid. Good location overlooking the bay and the mountains and the service was okay. Went on a Sunday evening around 5:30 and it wasn’t too busy at that time.

Had lunch there after mooring our boat. We had a salad and the chowder, both excellent. Service was good, nice setting, and a laid back atmosphere.

Six of us had dinner and no complaints. Drinks were good and food just as good. I had the duck breast in blackberry reduction that was super tasty. Wife had ribs that were good. Other couples had fish and chips, clam chowder and another duck breast. Good stuff.

Perfect patio for summer. Lovely setting and great food. Loved the curry mussels calamari fish and chips and carrot cake. Reasonably priced wine list with lots of local selections
I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share after a deeply disappointing experience. We called ahead to reserve a patio table for my mother's 80th birthday and mentioned it was a special occasion. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the reservation was nowhere to be found and we were seated indoors.
The food did not meet expectations after waiting over an hour. My mother and I both ordered the $39 salmon dinner, which arrived cold and completely devoid of flavor. For a dish at that price point, we expected far better quality and presentation. Everyone out of 5 people did not enjoy their meals.
It’s disheartening when a celebration is marred by poor planning and execution. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves both its reservation system and overall dining experience

Was a great warm day to be out on the deck which is in desperate need of rebuilding. Food was cold and without any flavour whatsoever. Server came one to get a drink dinner order. Someone else brought the order, the server never showed up again until the very end with a bill and a debit machine in hand. All in all, great scenic drive there. Fantastic day outside. Service and food were an epic failure. Not sure I’d recommend it.
