I used to come once a month with a friend before Covid to enjoy the famous crepes, which of course are still on the menu Last night, I went with my son and 4yo granddaughter. I enjoyed salmon & prawns with a lovely champagne sauce and rice, my son was very happy with fish and chips, and my granddaughter enjoyed a burger and fries. Very pleasant house wine, too. Parking is of course complicated all over Cowichan Bay, but staff are helpful facilitating 'the double parking'...
Our server Abe was excellent and very well versed with the menu. Loved my burger, it was possibility the best I have had in a long time. The fish and chips and the chicken crepes were good too.
The Vine has now become our favorite place for dinner in the Cowichan Valley. Plenty of freshly prepared seafood—the calamari is the best anywhere! And, we love the views from the large patio right on Cowichan Bay.
