The brunch at the small axe is out of this world. The most eggcellent place to eat in Enderby. Come try it if you're feeling peckish

Very cool place. Great menu items make it hard to decide what to get, which means we'll have to go back!

Every burger my partner eats anywhere gets compared to the Axe Burger and they all come up short. We live in Ontario but when we were in Vernon this week we had to make the drive up just to try it again and it was so worth it. Love the food, the vibe, the people...and Mr. Cage of course!

One of our favourite places to stop during the summer.
Unfortunately the amount of flies in our section made it impossible to eat. Our server seemed almost shocked when we mentioned it as like 15 flies buzzed around.
Not sure what needs to happen, more flies traps or better sanitation.
Will probably try again next summer in hopes something is done about this.
It’s not a good feeling wondering are flies just bad this time of year or if it’s dirty in there.

Small little pub/restaurant inna nice brick building in Enderby. Good was outstanding. Service was genuine and caring.
We arrived 30 min before close and we're treated like the 1st customers of the day. Our server lives out at Mabel Lake was a gem and was very attentive even while preforming her closing duties.
The wings we had as appetizers were half price and were excellent non battered wings. The Porky's sandwich was amazing and I ordered mine w Axe Salad. Our son loved the burger and my wife has a very good bowl of onion soup.
The place is a little cluttered and oddly set up but the food and service were 10 out of 10 for a little pub. Also , important to mention was how quickly the food and drinks were out to us.
Great Job.

Staff very attentive and vibe is very cool - lots of interesting things to look at. Patio would benefit from some spritzers but we had lunch on a VERY hot day. Food however was very so so. Got the cauliflower wings - batter was great but I’d recommend getting a dry flavour. We opted for the teriyaki and they were VERY saucy, quickly making the batter mushy. Got the axe salad (no cheese) with chikn filet. Dressing tasted like the mass produced balsamic you get at any pub, which kind of threw it off I think - a simple in-house vinegrette have really elevated it, and less balsamic reduction. Partner is a meat eater, and his burger tasted very unseasoned/bland. Serving size was huge which was good considering our bill for two drinks, two meals, and an appie was $90 before tip. Maybe the brunch menu is better, but this is a one visit place for us ☺️ Updated from previous review on 2025-08-03

The best ribs I've had in years. The corn bread is incredible, best I've ever tried. It's like that TV show you gotta eat here. You gotta try this place!
I don't think I've given full 5 stars on any other review. Really enjoy the food, staff is great and the atmosphere is fun. Recommend the Porkys pulled pork sandwich. Good rotating selection of draft beers
Great tasting axe burgers.
What an amazing restaurant, great vegan options and a funky vibe.
A real gem in a small town
