Super cute store behind the gas station/ general store. The ladies were very helpful with selections that would be good on a barbecue. Prices are great with a wide selection. We frequent the Fanny Bay Oyster Bar on Cambie St in downtown Vancouver so it was nice to be able to pay the store a visit before heading over to Denman Island.

Came across this gem courtesy of a local who told me if I like oysters, I must stop here . Right by the ferry this tucked away spot was such a pleasure to enjoy a midday feast. Great varieties of their local Fanny Bay oysters the option to check them yourself for a rental knife or purchase. Wish I purchased a knife as memorabilia since I’m out of province, but the fresh oyster scenery and overall experience was more than I could ask for. Purchased a dozen oysters, dill pickle mignonette Bill came up with $23, enjoyed checking them right outside the space toss your shelves in the bush and enjoy the fresh fanny bays. Kudos to the lovely team, especially Mitch and Lynsdy who provided such amazing education, knowledge and overall passion for their product and store! I can’t wait to come back and visit again soon

Great little shop for oysters, we shucked them ourselves out side and when one of them we saw was bad and told the owners they were kind enough to give us two extra for the inconvenience. Lovely oysters with a great mignonette!

If you love fresh oysters this is the shop for you! Can’t beat the prices! Seriously!

They always have a huge variety of seafood, including oysters which you can shuck after purchasing in the seats outside facing the water (they have oyster knives you can borrow and they sell hot sauces, mignonettes, lemons, etc)

We enjoyed the the freshest oysters, the women behind the counter were very friendly!

This is a fantastic little spot. They have a wide selection of different products, fresh, as well as frozen. They have snacks to eat on the go as well!

A perfect spot for oyster lovers 🦪 and seafood enthusiasts! The staff are friendly and approachable, and you can even shuck your oysters outside—just borrow a shucking stool. We enjoyed dinner with fresh seafood from the store, including Manila clams and gigantic oysters. Everything was delicious, and we’ll definitely be coming back!
