This is the best restaurant in town, don’t miss it. Somehow they’ve found a way to be super authentic and yet modern at the same time. The restaurant is beautiful, service is always great and the drinks are outstanding. Every time I go here I wonder how there isn’t a long wait to get in (only sometimes there is). Phenomenal spot!
My wife and I went to Chilango on a date tonight and had the most amazing time. The new menu is delicious and specifically the carnitas enchiladas and quesabirria tacos. The quesabirra tacos tasted exactly like what I have been trying to find (and haven’t been successful until now ). The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. If you are looking for exceptional Mexican cuisine, make sure to stop in.
This place is a truly authentic Mexican restaurant, starting with the ambiance, the music, and the food—it's genuinely Mexican! 10 out of 10, and of course I'll be back! There are no other Mexican places in Fernie, maybe Mexican bars, but no food!
