“Drove 2 hours just to come here. The restaurant was slammed when we got there. They got us in as quick as they could. Waitresses did a great job. The food was amazing. Have tried similar restaurants but the flavour complexities do not compare. Highly recommend.”

“Great pizza, probably the best in the East Kootenay’s. I had the Cheese Crust pizza and my wife ordered the Queen Mary and I would have given them a five star had they cut the pizza. Two takeaways pizzas and neither were cut so that made for an interesting experience of ripping the beautiful pizza into manageable pieces.”

“My family ate here for two dinners this past week. Everything that we had was perfect. My wife and I shared a bunch of Indian food including the garlic naan bread, butter chicken, beef vindaloo, tandoori chicken, basmati rice. Some of the best Indian food we have ever had. Our kids are a little fussy so they chose to order pizza and a burger with fries for the first meal. Both were very good. The next meal they ordered chicken fettuccini and a steak sandwich, which were also excellent. Highly recommend eating here, especially if staying in the hotel. Convenient and delicious!Kid-friendliness: Good assortment of items on the menu which are kid friendly.”

“Heard that Nevados has the best tacos in town and they definitely did not disappoint! We got the platter and it was a very good portion for 2 people to share, could perhaps even get 3 people to share. From reading other reviews it seems like it gets busy on weekends - we went on a Sunday evening and there was absolutely no wait which was nice. Service was nice too. Kitchen seemed to be enjoying themselves (in a good way) which is good to see in a restaurant.”

“I have been meaning to stop there for ages, and I'm sure glad I did. I had the wrap, and what a wrap, I think it weighed a kilo! It was a perfect blend of meaty, crispy, sweet, and salty. “This is an absolute gem in Fernie, it's a house converted to a restaurant and has been so tastefully designed. The atmosphere and staff are so welcoming, you feel instantly at home. The stroganoff and Lasagne were exceptional and so great to hear how many local producers they utilize. The wine list is extensive, the staff knowledgeable on choices and pairings and they even have wine on tap!! “We stopped in here Sunday June 18th. We seen the special was the Roast Dinner and had to try it. No regrets here, best prime rib roast and Demis glaze with potatoes, veggies and Yorkshires we've had in a long time! Thank you for doing it right and for a great meal. We'll be back for sure.”
