As someone who has been to breweries all over the world, this brewery is definitely lacking in the brewery “vibe”. They have the opportunity to allow dogs on their deck and choose not to which is such a disappointment for a brewery since that’s kinda the thing that attracted most people to craft beer is the entire experience. The location sucks, off the highway?! You have so many options on how you could’ve placed the tap room but chose to face the highway. However the 3 star is for the beer. It’s great beer but I’d rather grab a few and drive to a cool Fernie view to sip and enjoy.
Great selection of craft beers. Friendly staff, wonderful views.
Visited for some refreshments after hiking the Mount Fernie trail. Both my wife and myself enjoyed our flights, liking all of the beers we ordered.
Cool spot. Good beer. In Fernie. A great combination.
Great beers and perfect mountain town brewery vibe. Stopped in twice, once being for a tap release for their pride week beer. <3
Loved the whole experience here. Had a few flights which was an excellent way to try all their beers. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. They have really cute merch too. Every beer we tried was great. The patio has excellent views and a cute place for dogs to hang out under a shaded awning. No food served here but they do have a small menu of snack items.
Picked up some ‘Project 9’ Pilsner at Fairmont Mountainside Market. Great flavour and an excellent finish. One of the finest I’ve tasted. ??
Lovely, clean, a nice stop for a quick refreshing flyte of a decent selection of craft beers.
This place was incredible! We dined here with family in Fernie, and the pizza and chicken wings were simply outstanding. The service was exceptional too. It’s absolutely worth a visit!
Beers are just okay, staff is unfriendly and patio isn’t truly “dog friendly”

Stopped in for a quick drink before dinner, not a big craft beer person but Fernie Brewing Company offers something for everyone. Nice beer and snack selection, tons of seating, and quick service. Spacious patio and lots of parking on the street. There is a decent merch wall available for those into that sort of thing. While there is nothing unique in its aesthetic or brand, this is still a solid (local) craft brewery. Drink of the evening: LoGo Hazy IPA.
I try to stop in here each time we visit the area to give their beers a try.
With the exception of their Pumpkin Ale (seasonal beer) I find their beers too "hop forward". I wish they had a couple of brews that were less so.
A good pit stop from Edmonton to Sandpoint Idaho before hitting Cranbrook
Seen this place while pulling into Fernie on summer vacation. The Fernie RV park was close proximity biking over. Plenty of parking if required. Sat on the patio and enjoyed a few drafts and played a few of the many games available beside the bar to bring back to your table. Kid friendly. No food just the basics of chips and such.
Great beer, great atmosphere!
