Went in for a date night dinner and found the staff to be uninviting and the prices astronomically high for a “sports bar and steak house” as advertised. We ended up going elsewhere and having a much better experience

It’s been years since Fernie has had a descent restaurant to enjoy a delicious , good value breakfast.
Until now. I was beyond impressed today. Thank you to the kitchen and owners for noticing. Compliments to everyone.
Excellent service, prices are on-par. Portions are average but the quality is exceptional.
I highly recommend and will definitely return.

Really encouraging all Americans to stay out of Canada. Too much anger in Canada right now with the elbows up stuff. Getting yelled at in the parking lots isn’t fun Edited version We eat there all the time. Can’t ever get a burger medium rare. Always overdone since you asked. Steaks are good. Service is great. Canada is angry at Americans. Due to our plates we had 4 men yelling at us. It’s most not an appropriate atmosphere we want. We just came to ski and we have supported your restaurant for the last 7 years in the strip mall.

Came here two days in a row and was not disappointed the cook the people are super nice next time I’m in ferni definitely coming here very good steaks with the Neptune Bernie’s sauce ❤️ it

Very disappointed, Service was adequate, but not exceptional, Went to order several items on the menu were not available, Certain wines were not available placed orders And had to ask for part of our meal that was not served. Vegetables were definitely not cooked almost raw. As for the atmosphere wasn’t what You would expect at a higher class steakhouse if you like listening to Beach boy 60s music Drowning your conversations out. When I asked the multiple staff to turn the music down or change it to something more like chamber music, they said this is all the owners will play. For a $250 steak dinner with a bottle of wine this is not what I would expect. Save your money go elsewhere.

Yes it is ala cart, however some of the items are portioned so that they are shareable. My husband and I shared a salad, vegetable and baked potato and dessert. All of the food was delicious. My husband's steak was cooked to perfection and the 8oz portion was perfect. Our waitress was very interactive and was knowledgeable about everything and helped with every question we had.
It's not a fast food restaurant, but the food is totally worth the price.

Hands down, best place to eat in fernie. I walked out with a food coma, & would definitely repeat it over. The brunette hair lady that served me on November the 6th in the evening also gave exceptional service! Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a classic steak house eatery.

We spent a significant amount of time researching a good restaurant in Fernie and thought this was one. Not only were we made to wait for an open table while more than half the tables sat empty for the entire time we were there, but things got worse. We were told we couldn't sit at the bar to have a drink while we waited (owners rules). The owner had other rules too. Like charging us for the inedible escargot and canned mushrooms which were supposedly swimming in a wine, garlic and butter broth, that tasted like none of those things. We told the waitress (who by the way was very nice), that if we were still being charged for the dish we'd returned after one bite, to cancel our entire order. She brought us the bill for the escargot charged at full price (again, instructed by the owner) I asked for the rest of my dish then, but the owner had already thrown it in the trash. Truly a disappointing experience, and false economy for a dinner that would have brought in a much larger bill and a generous tip for the waitress. The owner should tip the waitress herself.
