Authentic bar right next to the slope. The nachos are to die for. Burger was awesome too. Lots of beer on draft. Great spot to eat after skiing.

The service and drinks were awesome, but the karaoke night Dj was a total jerk, it was my sister‘s birthday and once he found out he made a point to to say mean things and after everyone there are told him he was offside, he continued to be a jerk. If you’re looking for drinks and food, it’s amazing but if you’re going for karaoke or a good time. DON’T go there. This is our second year in a row where we’ve had issues with this Dj.

Had a blast here several days on my Fernie trip. The sign says it was voted best Apres bar in Canada, and I believe it. Waitresses working at the bar were always cheerful. Local beers and snacks were perfect for recharging after a day on Fernie's challenging slopes and chutes.

We lucked out and had great weather which allowed us 3 days of sunshine on the patio. The purine was so good and the drinks were refreshing. When you head up top you get a nice view of the resort and the slopes making your stop that much nicer. Service was excellent, and the vibe was ideal. Only wish would be a few more options on the menu for quick snacks!

Came in at lunch to warm up and could get a burger and fries. Fries aren’t served until 2:30? What a joke! Plus $25 for previously frozen burger and a bag of chips! What is that? Oh and a glass of water comes from a camping water jug? They can serve beer but not fresh water? Um health inspector please!

The food is very mediocre — its location is its main selling point. There are better restaurants nearby.

Ok, so The Griz is at the bottom of the ski hill with a captive audience, but I don't think the markup on beer and cider needs to reach the stratospheric heights it does here. Over $10 for a pint of beer brewed less than 10km away is usurous, and another $10 for a can of cider is as bad. Now the cauliflower bites were fresh and tasty, but at $18 were at least $5 overpriced. Mediocre service just compounded matters. We'll not be back.

Last time I checked, when you go to a resteraunt the workers tend to earn that tip instead of asking for it.

We were here on Monday, Jan 3rd for a quick bite to eat before my son's snowboarding lesson. The waitress was un friendly and had an attitude as she approached us for our order. We were able to get the drink order in and wanted to order food at the same time and she walked away. When she did come back to take our order, we only ordered two baskets of chicken wings. We saw everyone else eating around us as 45 minutes passed by then she finally asked us if we had our order and we said no, it took an hour for our order to come. When we ordered another round of drinks, she took away my wine glass with wine still in it. I was so not impressed. Terrible, terrible service. Wings were good, once they came but I don't want to experience that again.
