Although the staff were very nice and welcoming, the expectation was well below what was expected. The website advertises that there are lunch options and coffee, so we planned our day to ride the lift and enjoy an afternoon having lunch, listening to live music. However, we were greeted by a very nice man who explained that there was no water in the summer; therefore, no coffee and only pre-made sandwiches that were sub-par at best. This was a very disappointing experience, to spend $100 on going up the mountain for a mediocre sandwich and pop. I suggest that management change the website to advise that there are very limited services in the summer, as it currently provides false information and expectations.

This cafe was an essential stop when skiing at Fernie Alpine Resort. Temperatures were below -20C, so lots of people had the same idea. Spectacular views across the valley and down to the city of Fernie. A good variety of food and drink but service was very slow, and food took near40 minutes to appear. The only occasion during my week in Fernie that I didn't tip.I've been here during the summer, and it was much quieter and was amazing to sit on the balcony outside.

This used to be a great place to stop with reasonable prices for a ski hill. Now it's $30 for a panini. Ridiculous.

A limited menu is available here in summer. A nice place for a coffee break after a hike.

I only got here once while at Fernie. I wanted to get back a few more times, but it just did not happen. My one time there was fantastic, and thankfully, it took place on one of the prettiest blue-bird days of my trip. Waitress and the guy running the place ( guessing he was the manager) wew super cool. Had their paninni pressed grilled cheese, and it really hit the spot. Need to get back to Fernie to eat here again.
