Went there for a birthday night. Love The booths and staff was great. We went with our almost 2 years old and it was great. A bit disappointed with the food; our beef dish came on the bone and one of the plates was missing toppings. Instead of taking the plate back and fixing it, they just said sorry the chef must have forgotten. Overall, unfortunately I think for the price & quality we likely will go to the other restaurant in town.

We ordered two combo A (not sure if that’s the correct name) which had California rolls and 3 nigiris each. They gave us salmon, tuna, and shrimp nigiris and they were pretty tasty ?? I also ordered spicy seafood udon, and it was a great choice. It was a bit spicy for me but I think it would be fine for those who love spicy food. The udon was very rich and had many seafood in it. In overall it was a great experience in Fernie’s sushi wood ?
Kid-friendliness: They gave us cute chopsticks for my little brother ? they were for the people who are not used to using chopsticks

First time dining here. Personally, I absolutely love Japanese food to an near enthusiast extent.
My experience here was rather disappointing and underwhelming. I walked in and there was no employee at the entrance ready to serve me to a table, I waited a while and had to walk up to check if anyone was there.
I bought a chirashi don bowl, the sashimi to rice ratio was 1:3, I got way more rice than sashimi. It wasn't a generous amount of sashimi either, I was served 2 pieces each of 4 types of fish, 8 total. The quality of the fish meat wasn't that good. I was expecting for a Donburi bowl, price wise $14.99-18, but it was about $25, not worth it, unlikely to recommend.
The only thing that tastes good is the green tea, but careful, you pay $3.00 per cup/refill.

A great Japanese restaurant in Fernie! This is a spacious and comfortable restaurant serving a variety of sushi, sashimi and more! The waiters are very friendly and the service is quick and attentive. We got a party tray, which had a lot of sushi for it's price, but unfortunately they had a bit too much rice on them in my opinion. That made for a blander taste and by the end, we were getting tired of all the rice. Other than that, the food was good and my stay here was pleasant! A small but sufficient parking lot just outside. Come check it out!

The food, place, and service was 11/10. I love the cherry blossoms tree. Kimchi and kimchi fried rice was chefs kiss. We even order take away for home lol. Highly recommended place!

We drove from Crowsnest Pass to go to Yamayuga, but they were closed. And we came here instead. And I am glad we did. Because we had a great meal, although it took a while for our drinks to arrived but we didn’t mine. The service was good, food was good, portion was generous and very reasonable price. our server Ann( welcome to canada kabayan) was also attentive.place is clean as well as the washroom. I will be coming back there again! Thank you.

Atmosphere I liked. I even liked how food served, however taste of the sushi , no. No taste at all. The server was so friendly that forgot in my order to put not only chopsticks but forks as well. Also, I had to eat the miso soup with chopstick, because forgot to put spoon. And we had to share one napkin for two people. Before putting the order, the server asked me what to put in the bag (take out), so why to ask if it is not accurately working. I will not come next time to eat food there.

Other than there a big and a small annoying fly around our table the food and service was amazing. Our service person was very hospitable and we had a wonderful time.
