We had the vermicelli bowls which were half lettuce with some slices of cucumber. The other half some noodles, meat, bit of carrot & the sauce which had very little flavor. We will not return. The best Vietnamese food I have had is Saigon Moon in Diamond Valley. And I have had many living in Calgary.

We had the soy chicken sub, the gyoza, the beef vermicelli bowl, the pork spring rolls and the pulled pork tacos! Everything was delicious! The service was fast and friendly and fabulous! Would recommend and super easy to access off the highway for a quick meal that isn’t fast food but still speedy!

I have been to the chopstick truck on several (and I mean several) occasions, and have had such a great experience each time. The ladies that work there are extremely personable, friendly & kind. They work very hard to give the best customer experience for everyone! My favourite go to is the Twrap (it’s huge and full of so much goodness it will keep you full all day!) also just tried the pulled pork bao buns and they are to die for. So much flavour and surprisingly filling! I bring my kids here all the time as well, it’s also a favourite for them, as they get to run around the area, colour in the provided colouring books and also chalk! They have plenty of seating, and the views are 👌🏻👌🏻 Will 100% keep going back, and recommend to everyone as a must when visiting Fernie, or passing through!

The food was good (a twist on Vietnamese). Loved the outside space but leaving this 1 star review due to atmosphere and reason I will never return here again or recommend. I was shocked at the gossiping and scowling (behind people’s backs) I saw and heard coming from the ladies working the food truck!! They were very nice & friendly to everyone’s faces but our party of 7 adults sat close enough to the truck to see and hear some pretty unprofessional, rude, and unwelcoming comments. They were in particular awful to the families with kids, even when kids appeared to be decently behaved (they are kids eating outside in a casual grassy space though -which very reasonable imo for them to play around too). They have a kids menu, but the “kid-friendly” stops there. I would never bring my kids here (even though from the outside looks like a perfect spot to eat as a family!). And these ladies still gossiped and scowled behind people’s backs even if they didn’t have kids with them (it was 2 younger girls- early twenties maybe- and an older woman - maybe one of their mothers? Working that day. All of them - awful).
Hands down the best food truck I’ve ever eaten at. The Chopstick Truck is a hidden gem in Fernie. Every dish is so good, fresh ingredients, and amazing views and picnic area. The portions are generous, the service is friendly, and they even have water for dogs! Highly recommend the T-Wrap and kimchi fries—it’s next level! A must-visit for anyone in the area. Can’t wait to come back!
