We travelled through Fernie for a trip to Calgary and happened to stop by The Loaf to eat a late lunch. We were AMAZED at how good it was!! Each of my family of 6 adults had different dishes and raved about it!!! The serving portions were abundant and so tasty!!! We had sandwiches, Lasagna & Pizza. SOOO Good!!

We arrived about 3pm still suffering from time zone changes. I was amazed they didn’t say the kitchen was closed, they welcomed us with beaming smiles. This restaurant was lovely, it had a great atmosphere, the waiter was so observant, he came over when we were finished with a box as I couldn’t eat half of my panini, we took our paninis home and heated it up the next day in the oven it was sensational. So crispy, we really enjoyed our late lunch. Thank you.

Been there a few times. First time was awesome, food was great. The last time was terrible, pasta was not cooked, and the bread was hockey puck hard. When we complained about the meal not much was done to fix the problem. Very disappointing because it was so good the first time and seems to have gone downhill. Unfortunately we will not be going back.

Food was good but very expensive. Lunch for two people (pizza and one non alcoholic drink each) was $93 including 18% tip.

Not much about place is Italian. No pasta no pizza. Place should be relabeled as a panini bar. Specialty coffee is expensive and mine came lukewarm. My panini was cold in the middle. Wife had no issues with hers. Waitress was pleasant

We opted to sit on the patio. The views are lovely. The restaurant wasn't overly busy. When we sat down the table next to us waited about 5 minutes and then left without being served. We were served eventually but the food and drinks did take longer than I would've expected for how not busy the place was. The food itself was pretty good, my partners french toast was lovely with the caramelized bananas. My eggs benedict on foccacia bread was good. The hollandaise could've used more seasoning but overall quite tasty.

Great place to eat, suggest sharing a sandwich if you aren't really hungry as the portions are huge.

Thank you Indi, our server recently, and the chef who made an incredible breakfast for us! Just one of those special meals where you leave feeling on top of the world!
I spoke with the manager as well, and I wish them nothing but success! Amazing food and service and kindness. Very dog friendly too! We will be back when we come through town again! G&A

The food here is overpriced.
The owner is also terrible to the staff she was yelling at the server in front of customers! So uncomfortable Don't go here!
Amazing bread. The rest of the food was fine, but not what you’d expect when paying these prices. Service was excellent.

We were a bit disappointed. Food was kind of just ok and service was almost non-existent. The servers we had were nice, but the place was super busy and seemed understaffed. We went based on other reviews so maybe just a bad night.
