“One of the best run RV camps I've found on the Al-Can highway. The camping spaces are not crowded with shade trees at each. All of ghe many spaces are full service electric/water/dump for a very reasonable fee. The bathrooms are clean and the showers, while coin operated, are generous at 5 minutes a loonie. The hot water is hot and immediate. They have a nice restaurant and bar while the town has most of the things you need and is just a minute away. Yes, there are mosquitoes but that's life in every place on the Al-Can.”

“This restaurant is a bit of a hidden jem. We had Wor Wonton soup and the house special chow main. The wonton soup was very good and the small bowl is more like a large. We had a large and a small and I had a shard time getting through the large but I conquered it.

The chow main was very good as well.

The only reason we didn't give 5 stars is because the decor is dated (but clean).

Definitely recommended.”

“I had just come from Calgary & Edmonton where I enjoyed fabulous ethnic food, and absolutely did not expect to find food of this caliber in Fort Nelson! After a really long day of driving I was trying to make it to the Triple H by 8p but I missed it by a few minutes and at first I was disappointed - but then I took one bite of Northern Spice's food- and instantly knew I much preferred it over the steak dinner I had planned! I ordered the butter chicken poutine (instead of traditional gravy they use butter chicken sauce!) and added chicken! I lived in NYC for many years, and this was as good as any butter chicken I've had ANYWHERE! It was a very nice touch that they covered the top with cheese and broiled it, and they made it nice and spicy as per my request! It is DELICIOUS authentic Indian food with a Canadian twist - it was served over French fries! Even though it's listed in the side dish section - I could only eat half of it, and it was only right about $10 - I absolutely hope to come back someday!”

“Been here several times, breakfast quesadilla is huge and worth paying the extra over the free breakfast amount. Sour cream was extra. Other breakfasts are solid. A bit tough for egg free vegetarians, but still manageable.”

“Had a great stop at McDonald's in Fort Nelson during our road trip. The staff were friendly and efficient, and our food was served hot and fresh. The restaurant was clean, and the service was quick even while traveling through a busy route. Thank you to the team for the excellent service.
