This is not Indian food. Chai is the worst. Chai usually takes 10-15 min, they brought it in 1 minute, tasted like morning left over.
It's in my top five places to eat in Squamish! I always enjoy the Chicken Tikka Masala. I've tried so many meals here. The tandoori wings are nice and my teenagers love the butter chicken. I'm so glad this place is right around the corner from where we live. Ordering out from here is frequently requested for our family's birthday meals. Great prices and friendly family owned restaurant. They work so hard! Thank you.

There is a big difference in food quality when I ordered as a takeaway in comparison to dine in.
I was shocked by the amount of oil floating on top of Fish masala and there was barely 3 pieces of chicken in butter chicken. The gravy of butter chicken was even worse than a tomato soup!!!
Very disappointing and ruined my mood.

We dined in yesterday while we were exploring Squamish and the food/service was amazing, the owner Kelly was so sweet and accommodating, made us feel at home! Food was yummy, I would def recommend people exploring Squamish and Whistler to def stop here to satisfy their Indian taste buds!!! 😃😃💫

Got butter chicken it was just as average. I paid 24$ the other indian reaturant is way better with $8.50 butter chicken wraps.. way better choice. Go there

I visited Essence Of India for the first time with a friend, and we were both blown away by the delicious food and the quick, timely service. The flavors were incredible, and the dishes were cooked to perfection. I was so impressed that I brought my fiancée there, and she loved the food just as much as I did. Since then, it’s become our favorite spot. I even ordered food from there for my birthday, and now, whenever we make plans, Essence Of India is our first choice. It’s a fantastic family restaurant with amazing food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

TL;DR: great food, BEST SERVICE.
The food was great. But it was the service that made this one of the (if not the best dinning experience).
BEST SERVICE IVE RECEIVED PERIOD.
I had accepted it fact of life that when they clear the table, to move from appetizer plate to main course, that you'd have to exclusively request for any cutlery that was taken. But no here the service counted how many cutlery were taken away and replaced them. Not only that, when one of our spoons fell off the table they PROMTLY brought a new one.
At the start of service I spilled my drink on my friend and the floor (i am very sorry). The server was so sweet, asked if it was him that spilled it (it wasnt). Gave us a lot of tissues and mop cloths to clean some of the spill on himself. And cleaned the floor. And yet apologized even chef Don came out to help.
P.S. great food.
