““No sushi, no life!” Came here after a day of riding Whistler and was not disappointed. Called ahead and did take out and the food was ready right when they said it would be. Friendly, fast and super tasty! We just did some basic rolls and a few specialty rolls and all of them were fantastic.”

“If you're looking for another trendy glitzed out loud millennial rave, this is not the place. Go back to Starbucks & get another tofu latte ... If well prepared good food served up in record time by people who actually care, all in a laid back relaxed atmosphere, then this place will likely become a regular for you. My wife & i both work in the equestrian industry (she's an equine therapist, i transport horses, & we both provide emergency response for large animals), we don't get to spend much time at sit-down dinners, but whenever we get the chance, stopping at the Shady Tree is always a pleasant break. We've been there maybe half a dozen times over the past couple of years, and in all of those times we have yet to come up with a single complaint.”

“No frills family run small restaurant but with very good food and reasonable prices. Don't expect a luxury atmosphere as the restaurant is more suited for taking out...we ate dinner on paper plates with plastic cutlery 😆

Solid stop right on the main route to Vancouver/Whistler. Two self-order kiosks right at the entrance meant we ordered with zero wait. Got 2x iced lattes and chocolate glaze Timbits — coffee tasted exactly as expected, consistent with what we always get from Tim's.

Free parking directly in front of the restaurant. Outdoor seating with four tables was a nice touch — we prefer sitting outside when the weather's good, and this spot delivered. Interior looked clean and recently renovated. Staff were friendly.

No complaints here — thumbs up, recommended. 👍”

“Backcountry Brewing is a must-stop if you’re in the area. Come for the hilariously named beers, stay for the pizza, and leave wearing something from the merch shop that you absolutely convinced yourself you needed. 🍻🍕”

“It’s a nice little place with good food and coffee options. All of us had the tuna and salmon poke. Veggies and fish were fresh with a good yuzu soy flavor mixed with the purple rice. Fish to rice ratio seemed a bit too high in the carb side. You can also pick up few Japanese produce from the back market. Frozen gyoza, miso, kewpie mayo, etc. It was a good place to stop to and from Whistler.”

“Now this is a burger. Start with the fresh, high quality beef still oozing with juicy taste, trapped with goodness. But throw a dash of unique toppings rarely seen in burgers, like shredded carrots and pineapple, well it takes a whole new level. And their sides are also amazing and filling. A variety of donuts were delivered and he even wrote an engineering joke on the box! The joke and the donuts were a hit at Carbon Engineering that day. Service was over and above.
