We were about 9 parents from the East Coast who had travelled to Squamish to watch our daughter's play in the CCAA women's soccer championship. Great atmosphere for a group, our server was fabulous and definitely made for an entertaining event. My food was typical pub food, and did what I needed it to do.😊

Great food, great place, but HORRIBLE service. After not getting any menus or water the server came and told our group to order at the bar. Never bringing water or checking in with us. That was the worst service I’ve ever experienced in Canada.

We came here for a quick bite on our way to Vancouver and the wings and lettuce wraps were delicious! There was only one guy working but he did a really good job all things considered. There's some pretty good deals for happy hour too
Parking: I'm not sure how many spots there are and how busy it gets during the day, but we went around 9:00 p.m. on a Thursday and there was quite a lot of parking available
Rode out to Squamish with some friends on our motorcycles for lunch. We decided to give Shady Tree Pub a try, something different than our usual spots. Lots of parking outside. We were able to get a table for 5 right away. Our server came and took our drink and food orders within 10 mins. She said she was going to bring us water to start but it never came until i had to ask her like 15 mins later. Our food soon came after that except one order of chicken strip w/fries. That order finally came when we were paying our bill to leave. The chicken strip w/fries order never came with any dipping sauce either 🤦🏻 Also when we got our order there was no utensils/napkins given to us until we asked for them. I don't know maybe it was an off day for the service there 🤷🏻♂️. Well, at least my Texas Roadhouse Burger was decent 3.5/5. The salad that came with my burger had a nice dressing though. May just have to stick with our usual go to spots in Squamish next time.

We don't usually stop at Squamish on our annual anniversary trip to Whistler but we were a bit late getting going this year so we stopped in Squamish at the Shady Tree for lunch, great choice! Hubby had the fish and chips which he enjoyed, it was a healthy portion of fish and really good french fries but there could have been more coleslaw and the tarter sauce could have been better. I had the steak sandwich which salad and it was very delicious. Happy hour drink prices are great! I think this is a new stopping point on our trip to or from Whistler. Also our server was very friendly and attentive.
