Was in the area and thought I try this place , sorry I stopped , ordered burger fries and root beer and was served in less then 30 secs , burger and fries were cold , so cold the cheese never melted at all , it's like it was sitting already made before it was ordered , the burger should be made fresh from when it was ordered , and fries kept hot , save your money , I won't be back .

This is the first time that I had a very terrible meal. The fries were very old and the chicken had been sitting for awhile before it was made into a burger. I don't know who's working today but they should be fired for serving food like that. I threw it away. Absolutely disgusting! I didn't even want to give it one star for food

Well the front cashier was doing a good job all alone last night March 27. But there was a few cooks. And only three people eating in. One person going to order food and I was from drive thru. I got spicy chicken burger. And some other stuff. Once I got home. Partner went to eat the burger to find it was cold and very raw. Not even cooked at all. Cold and pink chicken.All I got was sorry and a refund. And was told it was busy. Well it's a fast food restaurant. They should be able to handle less then 10 orders with two cooks. Very poor excuse. Will be contacting head office and health inspector

I tried to give A&W a fair chance since there's not a lot of fast food options in Gibsons and have had no problems with A&W's in other locations. The Gibsons location, however, I've had one too many bad experiences that left me with a bad taste in my mouth (literally). Sometimes the food is ok but other times it is inedible. I've been served fries and hashbrowns fried in rancid oil; stale burger buns and food that just generally tasted off. The other day I got a breakfast sandwich and hashbrown. The taste was so off I took one bite and threw it out. I am not a picky eater; however, the bad experiences have turned me so off that I just can't support this place anymore.
