Baik Mi korean Restaurant

We were visiting the town and wanted to have dinner here at Baik Mi Korean upon checking the good reviews. However the outcome is we ultimately walked out with a take out and a terrible experience with the owner.

For context, there were 10+ tables available and 2 people dining in on 1 table.

Before we could even settle in our table, my mom took a seat on the empty adjacent table. The owner then quickly approached my mom in a rude manner, telling her to sit on our table as other non existent customers may occupy that adjacent table.

To the lady owner, kindness, some common sense and customer service goes a long way.

Their BBQ pork belly was very tasty, the marinade was on point, and it went so well with the rice. We tried pork bone soup and kimchi soup, and both were yummy. My friends love their sweet, spicy fried chicken. Prices are good for both quantity and quality of food. The owner was very nice to let us in 15mins before their opening hour.

Visited Baik Mi Korean in Gibsons and had a mixed experience. I ordered the haemul sundubu—the base soup was actually on point, rich and flavorful, but unfortunately the seafood used wasn’t fresh, which really took away from the dish.

On a positive note, their sweet and spicy fried chicken was delicious—crispy, well-seasoned, and definitely a highlight. I also appreciated the free sides, which added a nice touch to the meal.

Service was good, and the ambience was decent—nothing fancy but comfortable enough for a casual dining experience.

We got take out of the sweat and spicy fried chicken which was delicious. The half order is a great size for one! We would eat her again the next time we are in Gibsons.

Baik Mi did not disappoint. The sweet & spicy fried chicken and fries were delicious! The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside; the fries were crispy too! Next time, I will try their pork bone soup and fried cutlet. The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly & fast.

Love these guys, lunch was rad, the staff and family run restaurant is excellent. So glad they opened the only authentic Korean restaurant in our community. Just love it! Thank you guys :)

We had fried chicken and black bean noodles both were very good. It was a nice calm ambience with helpful servers. Definitely go back soon to try more food!
