Location is awesome
FOOD was good but very slow to come and very little of it , fortunately I wasn't very hungry or in a hurry with lots if visiting to do with the other birthday party goers..
The wait staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating.
Calculating the bill seemed to be quite confusing and some people were over charged and vice Versa.
So I won't be in a hurry to go there again.

The good feeling of a amazing food, this was the end of the food. The taste was great and I can say that it was the best Mexican food I have ever had in my life. Excellent service and friendly attitude. Everything together made for a great night. The mini chimichangas with lemon agave chicken were indescribable. The beef tenderloin taco tasted crazy, the Quesabirria oh my god mind blowing! If you ever go to Gibsons, you have to try this, otherwise you will regret it.

Lovely staff and great food, I love the churros!

Dietary restrictions: At the time of my visit, the menu didn't have anything with peanuts and there were multiple vegan and celiac / gluten free options.

Lunitas always has great food! Unfortunately the drink prices are getting insane!!! Sorry but you’re not a Michelin star restaurant and charging $16-18 for a margarita in a small town is insane. Portion sizes are not consistent as 4 of us had bowls, 2 were heaping and 1 was fairly full and the other was maybe half a bowl with a lot of the sliced taco chips on top to make it fuller looking. Not very filling for one persons meal. Meal was priced fairly if you don’t want to have an alcohol. Thank you for making fun and different Mexican dishes.

The Food and Atmosphere was really good.
However, I felt embarrassed due to tipping. I would normally give a tip, but with a company's card, I can't. The lady approached me as to why I didn't give a tip,, that they are are on a minimum wage and that they rely on tips.. That was so awkward..
I won't be returning there..

The service was good and the staff was courteous. However the portion size was too less for the price. We didn't find value money. On the expensive side.

Another lovely meal at Lunitas. It’s a cozy space with a funky vibe. Creative cocktails. Very good service. Portions are not huge but were adequate. We love the Gibsons harbour area and this place is one of the reasons we keep coming back.

While the restaurant was quite full we were seated at the bar which allowed us to be right in the middle of the fun, vibrant atmosphere.

The service was very friendly and dishes were excellent and well timed.

We will definitely return on our next visit to the coast.

As we explored the village of Gibson’s we noticed this little what turned out to be a Gem of a Mexican restaurant we got a craving. It’s amazing!

Good vegan options and a great heated patio overlooking the marina. The tofu tacos were delicious!

What a beautiful setting! Overlooking the marina, it’s a perfect spot for a date. Had the burrito and the enchiladas - both delicious. The enchiladas came with the correct amount of rice and beans with cotija (feta) on top. Classic. Drinks were great too. Spoiler alert: Tell em it’s your birthday and you get a sombrero with your dessert.

Still may favourite place to eat in Gibsons, we have been coming here for many many years and always good food and drinks, recently however we noticed some shrinkflation going on, the burritos definitely don’t have as much meat as they used too which is too bad, I would rather they just raise the prices (like they did for drinks)rather than keep them
The same but add more rice and less meat. Hoping they can think twice and go back to the quality food that set this place apart.

My partner and I reserved 2 seats for a patio spot during Labour Day and the hostess was super obliging. Was a bit of a wait but that was to be expected; this place is phenomenal. We each had a pint and a mezcal, with the queso fundido platter to start and two sets of tacos (pork belly and carnitas) to share. The tacos were superb; great balance and depth of flavour, would return purely for these. The queso was also quite good, but the four different sauces (salsa fresca, Roja, Verde, and guac) were what really tied them together. And bottomless chips to boot! We had to roll ourselves out of there. The views are fantastic and the service was almost perfect, save for a slight wait for the bill. Will definitely be returning.

Dietary restrictions: Clear instructions for how to make menu keto-, paleo-, and gluten-free friendly.

Parking: Small lot, space for maybe 6 cars. Short walk from street parking though.

Wheelchair accessibility: Could likely access by rolling down the main dock access and doubling back under it to access lower patio.
