Our Airbnb host in Gibsons recommended this café, and it quickly became a favourite during our trip. We first stopped in before heading to Egmont for a kayak tour and enjoyed it so much that we came back again before catching the ferry. Both times, the food and coffee were excellent, and the service from the owner and staff was warm, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it an easy place to linger — whether you’re working on something, meeting friends, or simply soaking up the vibe (we even ran into someone sketching during our visit, which added to the creative feel). The location is also convenient for drivers, cyclists, and backpackers as a perfect stop before continuing on to their next adventure, including the ferry to Powell River. Highly recommend!
