I've been going to Persephone every time I visit the sunshine coast for about a decade now, and regularly call it the happiest place on earth. I will always suggest it as a Sunshine Coast destination. But I have never been tempted to review it until this past weekend though!I ended up chatting with an employee there, Lisa, as she was making the rounds and it turns out we both have the same obscure breed of dog. Neat! She was friendly and engaging and made me Mom who was visiting from out of province feel right at home.BUT way way beyond that! She ended up finding my wallet that I had dropped and remembered that were were on our way to the ferry back to the city. Lisa drove down to the terminal, walked up to where the passengers load and waved us down right before we got on the ferry to give me my wallet back. She is an absolute ANGEL. I screamed it at the ferry terminal, but in case you didn't hear - THANK YOU LISA!Great beer, great food, and great people.

We are blessed in Gibsons with a few Micro breweries and Persephone is my favourite. It has an excellent vibe and an amazing collection of places to sit outside. I have never been disappointed and it is really a unique experience. A must visit even if you don't like beer. (-:

The pork belly sandwich IS TO DIE FOR. It melts in your mouth and super flavorful. They also have a fire pit outside so you can hang out with a few friends.

We love this place, we go often. I can't believe the talent of music that rolls through this joint, Whoever is booking the gigs, well done. No need to review the beer, we all know it's kick a**, the dry hops cider is one of the best ciders, not sweet or acidic. The food program has gotten 1000% better in the past couple of months. The fries taste and might be handmade from spuds grown on the farm, and the burger was a 2 napkin affair. Great portion to share, juicy and plentiful. Bun was a little stale, but the chef gets a pass, the fries and burger made up for it. Next time I would ask for no caramelized onions.

One good beer (Kelp Gose), two really good beers (Lime & Pepper Sour, Berliner Weiss) and one truly great beer (Dry Irish Stout on nitro). Situated on a real working farm with lots of cool places to sit (limited if it was raining) and plenty of parking. Our homemade lentil burger was good but pricy ($19). Beware that the kitchen closes about 90 minutes before the bars closing time. The owners are very supportive of the local community.

From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the place. The staff were incredibly polite and friendly, and they made me feel right at home.But of course, the real star of the show at Persephone Brewing Company is the beer. They have an incredible selection of craft beers on tap, each one more delicious than the last. I particularly enjoyed their IPA, which had a perfect balance of hops and malt, and their saison, which was light and refreshing.But it's not just the beer that's great at Persephone Brewing Company - the food is also top-notch. They have a great menu of locally-sourced, organic food that pairs perfectly with their beers. I highly recommend trying their charcuterie board, which features a selection of cured meats, cheeses, and pickles.The atmosphere at Persephone Brewing Company is also worth mentioning. It's a beautiful space, with a large outdoor patio area and plenty of seating inside as well. They often have live music and other events, which adds to the lively and fun vibe of the place.Overall, I would highly recommend Persephone Brewing Company to anyone looking for a great craft beer experience. I brought a class of college students studying sustainable housing and the environment of the Sunshine Coast to Persephone for lunch. We all had great food, a wonderful time in the sun and found out Persephone does tours. So we came back for a tour of the farm and brewery and learned so much about their commitment to preserving the environment. Don't miss the awesome bookshop upstairs!

Great vibes at this farmhouse style brewery. Lots of seating for a sunny day. Caught some live music in the taproom twice in a row. Staff was fun and accommodating. Especially loved the cider options and the bookstore upstairs, great match as it's the perfect place to find a quiet spot to read.

Great place to visit for a few drinks. Staff are super friendly. I’ve been twice for the stout. On todays visit they had a magician who baffled us, we’re still trying to figure out how he did the card tricks. Will recommend to anyone visiting Gibsons!
