First time at this cosy little restaurant tucked away in Gibsons. The quesadillas are simply the most delicious I have eaten anywhere, and that includes Mexico. The portions are huge, took half home for later. Service was friendly and thoughtful. Will definitely return to try something else from the tempting menu. Good value for money.

My husband and I popped in to the Salt and Swine because someone recommended it to us. I didn’t even know what kind of food they served, and in fact thought it was a sandwich shop! We were pleasantly surprised to find they had a Mexican-style menu that was quite varied. I ordered the Taco Bowl with Barbacoa Beef, and my husband ordered the Tacos Americanos with two different kinds of protein. The tacos were coated in cheese, which gave them some extra textured cheesy goodness - yum! Both of us were blown away at our meals. They were so fresh and flavourful, with nice portion sizes (I took half of mine home). The service was excellent. This is quite the little gem of a place. We will eat there again for sure, and would highly recommend it for lunch, dinner, or take out.

We had Salt & Swine cater 4 types of tacos, 2 salads, tortilla chips with all the toppings for a group of 15 for a 40th birthday dinner. It was fantastic! Everyone raved about everything! We had chicken, pork, vegetarian and fish. ALL were fantastic! The price was incredibly reasonable and every thing was fresh and crisp! The food was plated on ready to serve platters so all we had to do take off the covers and put it on the table - family style. If you want a special dinner so you can truly enjoy your party call Salt & Swine!
