Amazing coffee, great vibes, delicious food! We got some of the items from the to go fridge (overnight oats and a harvest wrap), and lattes and a breakfast wrap made fresh. Everything was delicious! My only regret is that we didn’t have more time in Sechelt so we could come back again and try more things.

When we’re not on the Sunshine Coast, I’m counting down the days until we can come back just so I can visit Sea Monkey. We’re always greeted by the friendliest team, the coffee is perfect, and the food is INCREDIBLE. If I could bathe in it, I would.
We always grab a mix of sweet and savoury…the breaky wrap is a complete flavour bomb of dreams (add the hash browns with a side of garlic & truffle aioli, it’s insane), and the baked goods somehow get better and better every time we visit.
Thank you to Dani and the entire Sea Monkey team for filling our bellies and hearts with love every single time. ❤️

Okay this is our new favorite place, maybe on earth? We pulled back into the area just looking for coffee and found a whole beautiful little compound that included the Sunday cidery, a delicious breakfast & baked goods cafe, and an indian food spot. All are arranged around this gorgeous yard / garden space with tons of seating, yard games, etc.
We’re not vegan so don’t have tons of experience with vegan food but both of our meals were incredible, especially the tofu scramble. Never would’ve known everything was plant-based. We had that for brunch and then went on a 4-hour hike and didn’t get hungry at all until dinner. The coffee was also wonderful, and it was so great to have so many excellent gluten-free options (very rare!). If you’re wary of or inexperienced with vegan food, this is the spot for you.
Everyone working at the various food spots and all of the diners were so kind, chatty, and welcoming. The big yard seating with all the games created a really wonderful, positive community vibe that we realized is unfortunately kinda rare. People of all ages & social groups were hanging out for long periods of time (young families, couples, friend groups, etc). We can’t wait to come back.

Best in class coffee, matcha and hot chocolate bombs. Perfect parmesan potatoes with homemade ketchup and aioli. Avocado bagel toast is the best I’ve had in a long time.
Dani’s passion for food and service is evident in all her offerings. 11/10 across the board.

We’ve been here several times and genuinely look forward to it every time we come back to the coast. We’re both vegans and it can be hard to get decent options - but this place has so many. The food, coffee, treats and people working here are honestly the best. We brought my non-vegan mum here too and she loved it, which is always a good tell.

One of my favourite spots to go when we’re on the coast! So nice to be able to order and know that everything is plant-based for my family, and so delicious in the cutest environment where my son and dog can hang out outside.

No end of good things to say about this magical little place in the woods! Located on the idyllic property at Sunday Cider, Sea Monkey offers delicious vegan food that honestly I would never know was vegan (I'm not a vegan or vegetarian). I meet friends here regularly and my go-to order is the tofu scramble breakfast wrap (so hearty and nourishing) and the Chocolate Hazelnut oat latte (rich and yummy, perfect sweetness). The apple cake and brownies are also so delicious. Bonus: Dani and her team are always smiling. I feel good about putting this food in my body, and I feel good about supporting this local, inclusive, woman-owned business!
Whether you're just driving through or you have lots of time to sit and stay a while, this spot is a must-visit.

First of all that place is vegan I didn't know before we go but secondly the taste was better than regular food. It was super delicious. Coffee is so tasty. I didn't even wanna finish any of them. Blueberry pastry is unbelievable. Atmosphere is amazing. So natural. Also staff is helping a lot with smiling face. Such a good experience. Thanks.
