****A MUST SEE REVIEW****

Chicken noodle soup $20.00! Campbell soup is better to start. I specifically asked them in English because I don't speak Japanese (they are not Japanese) for chicken udon noodles with chicken and NOT the soup! When I phoned them they laughed at me and said sorry goodbye. Now the rest of this very wrong rated restaurant.

PEOPLE WARNING 2* RESTAURANT AT BEST!!!!

After you find parking which is almost impossible and you push your handicapped mother in the wheelchair that hasn't been out because of there mobility, define that there is no way in there except walking around a hotel looking for a room key to get through the hotel to a pathway for the wheelchair to find out it's all closed down with construction tape because the signs about to fall so, then you walk around the building with a wheelchair half a block to find out you reach a set of stairs that you cannot push a wheelchair up. Now your whole night is ruined.

Now the same thing except you do take out and find the cook outside spitting on the ground smoking. I've been to better soup kitchens on the east side of downtown than this place. Absolutely astonishing that I experienced this for the first time I don't know how they have anything more than two stars. Recommend just go across the street where you can park right out front and walk right in. I guess the food is good but that depends on how much smoke it's going to taste like.

This place blows the pants off of Sima across the street. The prices are actually quite similar, but the difference in quality is night and day. California roll was generously filled, the charashi don featured a very good quantity and variety of sashimi, and they even brought us complimentary salmon tempura skewers to start. This is our new go-to for sushi on the coast.

Excellent food, the servers are mostly inexperienced young teenagers so it can seem a bit disjointed but they're all friendly & get the job done.

This used to be my favourite Japanese restaurant on the Sunshine Coast, but lately it has lost its formal feeling and the food is not as high quality as before. When I ate there recently, the miso soup was flavourless and the broccoli gomae had changed from its usual rich and thick savoury sauce to something kind of sweet and also rather flavourless. The servers were nice and attentive but too casual. I am disappointed because I used to love supporting this business.

Delicious food & accomodating staff. Chef overheard us asking the waitress about vegetarian options and brought us a complimentary Vegetable Croquette (like a potato croquette but better) on the house. Rolls were great and Yakisoba tasted just like it did in Japan! When we asked what kind of tea we were drinking, the waitress decided to bring us 2 of the tea bags to take home, free of charge!Music sounded similar to what you might hear on the streets of Tokyo, just in Korean instead.Do try!

Vegetarian options: Great tofu/mushroom yakisoba, shiitake/beet roll, peanut/brocolli roll, yam tempura, and tamago + inari nigiri. Looked, smelled, and tasted fantastic -- you won't be disappointed

I didn’t expected the server welcomed us saying”Irasshaase!”It means welcome to the restaurant in Japanese. The foods were delicious. Some of them were really creative compared to the real Japanese food and they were very yummy.Thank you for the great food and the service!

Kid-friendliness: They provided us forks for our boys and gave them a candy after the payment.

I called in advance to ask if they had tamari. I cannot eat wheat. They said no. I bought some to take with me. Another customer asked for some and lo and behold they brought it. We were never offered water, I practically had to mug the waiter to get a napkin. The rice I ordered never arrived. The fish was of poor quality. I left hungry, angry and offended. Never again. My husband's meal was mediocre but edible.
