This used to be my favourite Japanese restaurant on the Sunshine Coast, but lately it has lost its formal feeling and the food is not as high quality as before. When I ate there recently, the miso soup was flavourless and the broccoli gomae had changed from its usual rich and thick savoury sauce to something kind of sweet and also rather flavourless. The servers were nice and attentive but too casual. I am disappointed because I used to love supporting this business.

Delicious food & accomodating staff. Chef overheard us asking the waitress about vegetarian options and brought us a complimentary Vegetable Croquette (like a potato croquette but better) on the house. Rolls were great and Yakisoba tasted just like it did in Japan!When we asked what kind of tea we were drinking, the waitress decided to bring us 2 of the tea bags to take home, free of charge!Music sounded similar to what you might hear on the streets of Tokyo, just in Korean instead.Do try!Vegetarian options: Great tofu/mushroom yakisoba, shiitake/beet roll, peanut/brocolli roll, yam tempura, and tamago + inari nigiri. Looked, smelled, and tasted fantastic -- you won't be disappointed

I didn’t expected the server welcomed us saying”Irasshaase!”It means welcome to the restaurant in Japanese.The foods were delicious. Some of them were really creative compared to the real Japanese food and they were very yummy.Thank you for the great food and the service!Kid-friendliness: They provided us forks for our boys and gave them a candy after the payment.

I called in advance to ask if they had tamari. I cannot eat wheat. They said no. I bought some to take with me. Another customer asked for some and lo and behold they brought it. We were never offered water, I practically had to mug the waiter to get a napkin. The rice I ordered never arrived. The fish was of poor quality. I left hungry, angry and offended. Never again. My husband's meal was mediocre but edible.

Amazing every visit! Had our occasional monthly treat at Won's yesterday, and we were greeted with the usual warm, inviting and pleasant servers. Food is fantastic and presentation entices you to devour more:) The restaurant is such a hidden gem on our Coast I'm split leaving this review, as to we want to keep this all to ourselves, yet we encourage everyone else to experience the super craftsmanship and care for detail and good quality you get every visit. Ambiance is great, love the dark color with light contrast. We wish we could give more stars.

We were just driving through town to our B&B when we found this Japanese restaurant. The food was so delicious, husband and I shared a House Salad and chicken teriyaki meal and couldn’t finish it, the portions were so generous. Staff were great, so happy we found this place.
