Good lunch, and great view. Waitress was very kind and considerate. Stopped by for a bite to eat and was impressed by the view. But could use a couple trees knocked back in front. Not much to complain about other then fries could of used a little seasoning.

First time back in years. I grew up in GR and come back to visit my mom frequently. Like many people I avoided the Ridge due to poor quality in the past but news of the new owner/chef was all over Facebook. I heard it was fantastic so we stopped in today. Our ultimate pub test is just burgers...a pub has to have a good burger! Being a vegetarian I sometimes get overlooked in that area and crave a juicy, tasty burger. This one was a homemade black bean patty that was super fresh! Slight chili spice to it which was fine for me, but could be too spicy for others if prefer a more straight up flavour. But man, it was so tasty. So crispy on edges and the toppings were great too. Lightly seasoned fries were addictively good. My Guy had the BC Burger and said it was "fresh"...said could actually taste the meat lol. He said it was the best burger had had in awhile.Inside of the pub looked great too; nice and clean. The patio looked summer ready and I can't wait for our next visit to have a tasty drink out there.Service was friendly and fast. Being a Customer Service Manager for the past 20 years I often look for little 'extras' that heighten the experience and we didn't get those. Little things like introducing yourself, asking us if we're from the area or yelling out a thank you for stopping by as we leave do make a difference and leave an impression. It's a teeny tiny point on an otherwise fantastic lunch. Our service was good.I'm really excited GR has a neighborhood pub again that they can be proud to bring visitors to. This town is in my bones and my heart and I only want to see it thrive.

Well we decided on giving this pub another chance and once again very disappointed. Waited over an hour for food without a heads up on that, we had one beer . Sat with empty glasses and empty bellies ignored for over an hour. Rude waitress, absolutely terrible. I understand good help is hard to find but surely we can do better. Will never return ,until new ownership . Gas station pizza it is. Sad .

Soulless and tasteless food. We asked the server for recommendations as they usually know best what the best dishes are, but either she had no clue or she had bad food taste. As per her suggestion, we ordered the chicken burger that was nothing more than a tasteless chicken breast on a bun with a leaf of lettuce, thin tomato slice and one slice of bacon, the side was day old refried fries. The other dish was the plainest beef dip that we have seen, just a piece of sliced bread with beef, no condiments or anything else, it was also served with one day old refried fries. This place makes McDonalds look like a gourmet meal.
