Oh my gosh, what a wonderful experience. Food, atmosphere, service- this lovely restaurant has all of it. We are vegetarians so could only sample a fraction of the menu, but there are ample options for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Highly suggest the fondue and the warm mixed drinks. The chocolate moose was perfection. Ambiance was delightful with loca art, and nooks and crannies for diners to have a probate experience still surrounded by other diners. Thank you for a lovely meal. We can't wait to return.

We stop in at least once everytime we come to Golden. Feta dip is to die for along with the butternut ravioli. Good value for the incredible flavor. Staff are friendly and hard working. The old house converted into restaurant has such charm. Make sure you make a reservation but it is well worth it 💕💕💕

Our evening began on a great note. The restaurant is lovely, the food very good and the server was excellent....and then it all went south. We were seated in a nice quiet corner and it all started well. Then the server chose to place a family next to us and the grandma coughed (sounded like hair balls) and the kid talked very loudly....then the parents talked over him. In short, my nice birthday dinner was a bust. The server did not ask if we had a special occasion, and we made a reservation. Too bad that if you want to celebrate a special occasion, it has to be announced. One would think that if you make reservations at one of Golden' s best..... a nice evening could be expected. We rarely come to Golden, and if we are back it won't be to this place. It's a shame because with some forethought they could seat families in one place and intimate gatherings in another. The restaurant is divided into rooms so seperate dining would be easy. Live and learn I guess.

Recommended by a local who was spot on for how excellent this was. Excellent service from the very friendly staff, seated quickly and had our drinks and an appetizer in no time. Dinner was very good. Very much worth the visit.

We showed up on a Friday night and asked for outside seating to accommodate our dog being with us. Even though the patio wasn't open, they made an exception, which we appreciated. The borscht was excellent. It had a stronger beet flavour than conventional borscht (a little less sour than is common) so might not appeal to everyone but we really liked it. I had the butternut squash ravioli and my husband had the bison shepherd's pie. He raved about his. I was very happy with mine. The waitress was very personable. A fun dining experience we were happy to find.

They were able to accommodate a large party last minute on a Sunday night. The butternut squash ravioli is a must-order. All our party’s dishes were amazing. We already want to go back again.
We stumbled upon this gem in Golden and were so impressed!
The Dragon Boat platter with scallops, prawns, mussels, and smoky paprika cream sauce was incredible — especially with the pretzel bread to soak it up. The pasta was also hot, fresh, and delicious. Everything was beautifully presented and made with care.

I visited this cozy and charming little restaurant in Golden, BC over the weekend. Since it was a Saturday evening, the place was quite busy. We ordered the Dragon Boat and the Chicken Curry. The presentation was nice, but the taste was fairly average.

One of Golden’s best! We first came 8 years ago and sat at the bar by the door and watched all the kitchen magic. We’ve been every time we have been in Golden and it’s a highlight of our visit. Our latest visit included the chicken cashew curry with kim-chi potstickers and the dragon boat. Along with it I had a Indigo gin cocktail and it was all fabulous! For anyone considering stopping by, make a reservation. From where I sat, I could see many, many people walk up and then have to leave as the restaurant was booked solid on a Sunday night. This is fine dining indeed.
