Ethos Café is a must-stop in Golden. As a true coffee lover, I can honestly say I had the best cortado I’ve had in Canada here. Perfectly balanced, smooth, and made with real care — you can tell they take coffee seriously.
Parking is very easy and free, the staff are incredibly kind and attentive, there’s no waiting time, and prices are very competitive considering it’s specialty coffee.
A necessary stop before starting your visit to Golden — whether you’re passing through or staying longer, this place sets the tone for the day.

We went here for a coffee, i took a latte, my wife a cortado and my friend took a turmeric latte. Drinks were very delicious and tasty. Staff was very friendly. The place is quiet and there is plenty of parking in front.

I read a review that said the food was nothing special but decided to go anyway because the photos looked so good. Whoever wrote that must’ve recently lost their taste due to covid or something because it was so freakin good. The sauces were insane and the roll was perfect. I got the breaky roll.

I had read great reviews of this place before I arrived in Golden and was definitely not disappointed! First day stopped by for some delicious hot soup and whole wheat sourdough bread on the side. Second day stopped by after cross country skiing for a superb Matcha latte and a treat, along with a great breakfast sandwich that I had this morning. Then today, came by for a turmeric latte and a delicious macarron after snowshoeing. I am from Victoria, which has a lot of great cafés and bakeries, and Ethos would be right there among the top five.
Has to be the best bagel I ever tasted, and toasted rye cookie as well. What an amazing spot in Golden!

I had an excellent sandwich and coffee. I had the chicken parm sandwich and got something different than I pictured but in a good way. The sandwich was tasty and I want more. My coffee was only lukewarm though but it was well made.
No wait and food came quick.
The following day we returned to the bakery they have next door and got some cake and a doughnut. They are amazing for there baked goods!
