Wow am I glad we picked this gem!! Not only was the food amazing, I had the soup and it was out of this world, our server Sly was the man! really glad we stopped and we will be back.
What an amazing place to eat. Our pulled pork sandwich was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We had a great time talking with our waiter , Sylvester. He was entertaining , efficient , and just a delight.

Just had an amazing breakfast at The Island Restaurant in Golden, BC — and wow, what a way to start the day!
I had a perfectly cooked omelette, paired with sourdough rye toast and the most delicious apple jam you’ve ever tasted. Sat outside on the patio, soaking in the fresh mountain air and incredible views of the surrounding peaks.
And here’s a sweet little detail...
