I'm pretty disappointed. I just called 4 times from my Ontario number..no one is answering the phone for delivery. I called a month ago and they texted saying they wouldn't deliver to nicholson..this is not good customer service! All I want to do is order Chinese food as a nice gesture this evening for myself and my guy. New to golden and not impressed. Is there a reason they do not answer? What number can I call, for a response? Anyone have advice? -Frustrated, sorry.

Okay, so the building is shabby and the service is very standoff-ish (not uncommon for Chinese restaurants), but the actual Chinese food is really good - especially for a small BC mountain town.Had the hot and sour soup and salt and pepper squid. Sounds like most of the negative reviews are from people who order Canadian (not actually Chinese) food, so venture a bit with the menu and it's very tasty.

Chapsuy is perfectly cook. Food is good. You get what you pay in the food rate. My kids are picky in food on taste and how its been cook. 2 thumbs up for them also.
Decent food, prices comparable to others in Golden area. The seafood soup is light and flavorful. The portion size for the combo is quite large.

Ordered and paid for the large war wonton soup. I think it was a small wonton as there was no meat in it besides the wonton. And it was pretty small to at $17.Wouldn't try it again for sure.

Had a contract in Golden, got hungry after work, ordered the Hawaiian fried rice and spring rolls, they finished it in about 12 minutes, good taste, I like it. Service is not great, but not awful. Price is not cheap but it is not insane.The atmosphere is kind of dark though, lots of space but not enough light, but it is not bad though, I will come again when I pass by Golden again.
