We stopped in Golden on the 26th for a day of skiing, and since most restaurants were closed for the holidays, this spot was a great find. Service was incredibly fast and friendly. We ordered a mix of sushi and a teriyaki chicken bowl—everything was delicious. The fish was very fresh, and my husband loved his teriyaki chicken. There are only a few tables and you order at the counter, which was perfect for us since we didn’t want to wait. Absolutely recommend this place.

Best Japanese food I’ve had in this side of BC… and maybe in general. Sweet, quiet atmosphere. Open, quiet, clean kitchen. Cosy, small, wooden tables. I don’t know who their distributor is, but the sashimi and fresh fish dishes were SO 👏 fresh 👏 and 👏 good 👏 no words can describe my happiness after consuming their food.

Incredible and authentic! Quick service and friendly staff. The food was so good we came in for dinner then ordered takeout to have for lunch! Are we on the coast? The seafood was incredible quality and fresh 😊😋

Spicy Ramen with Chicken was some of the best Ramen I have had. The ginger pork was also amazing. Better than Ramen Danbo on Robson st, Vancouver.

Disappointed with my order this evening. 70$ my seaweed salad was off it’s something I often order avocados bad in most of my avo rolls. Tuna sashimi was good.

The previous owners of this restaurant who owned it from 2012 until 2022 sold me a 2006 Lexus LX 470 SUV in January 2019 after purchasing it in another province and owning for 8 months. Unfortunately to me the vehicle had many issues and did not pass OOP in Calgary, AB (Seized parking brake, the muffler with a rusted hole, worn rear brakes and disks, the leaking power steering rack with torn boots, a broken left lower ball joint, etc.). Also, I found during summer months that the AC did not work at all. Somehow the vehicle passed OOP in Golden at Golden MotorWorks that was closed for business in 2018 and I relied on the inspection report that was false. I had to spend thousands of dollars addressing all the issues before it passed the inspection months later and I could drive it finally. I have sold the vehicle two years ago and was lucky to cover my expenses due to high demand for used vehicles. I have purchased other SUVs in the past but did not experience this level of deception in Canada.
Reply to the current owner: I updated my review as I did not know you took ownership of the restaurant in 2022. There is no mistake and I was there on January 11th 2019 to sign the bill of sale.

If you’re craving Asian dishes, this spot is worth a visit. It’s Japanese-owned, and while most customers get their food to go, there are a few tables available if you’d like to dine in.
It was pretty hot in early September, this place may have AC turned on, however, it felt hot inside.
