We were staying the night in Golden on our way from Vancouver Island to Edmonton. Lots of great options for dinner in this town but when Red Tomato Pies come up on our web search, we thought "why not?" We haven't had takeout pizza for a while. What a great decision! Simply put, this was the best pizza we've had in decades!!! Including the years we lived in Vancouver, including the pizzas I make myself (which are pretty darn good!). The first indication of the pizza quality was the sheer weight of the box, it was much heavier than what we're used to with other takeout pizza. And then when we sat down and opened the box: wow! The pieces were thick! And not just all crust, either, it was loaded with fresh, delicious ingredients. We ordered the "Maui Wowie" which was an amazing blend of meats and cheese and pineapple. Needless to say, our first time for ordering from Red Tomato Pies won't be the last (though regrettably there are no locations where we live on Vancouver Island 😔)

I recently tried Red Tomato Pies Golden, and I was absolutely blown away. From the first bite, it's clear that they take pride in their ingredients and preparation. The crust was perfectly crisp, . The sauce was fresh and flavorful, not too sweet or tangy, and the cheese melted beautifully with a rich, creamy texture. The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. If you're in the area and craving a top-notch pizza, Red Tomato Pies Golden is an absolute must-try. I can't wait to come back for more!

I would order pizza from somewhere else or go to the grocery store if it takes this long

This is a local pizza restaurant. Many people, including locals, visit. Dining is not possible in the store, only take-out is available, and it takes 30-40 minutes to order pizza. When you think of Korean-style pizza, the dough feels thick, but even the dough was really delicious.

Ordered a nacho salad to take away, bad luck once I arrived at a nice place to devour this order there were no nachos... the irony Back at the restaurant the cook only opened the box and added a handful of chips without apology or even a smile… Very unfortunate

Pizza was good but the dipping sauce cups came inexplicably embedded in the pizza? There was plenty of space in the box next to the pizza so not sure why this choice was made. It also took 3 tries to get through to order and the person who took our order was very rude over the phone so maybe they were busy or having a bad day.
Hungry for pizza and this place had the highest rating, so I tried to order his the website for delivery. The website sucks so after the third attempt to order I called their phone number. I got recorded music instead of a person. So after a minute or two I hung up and called a competitor who answered promptly and took my order.
They need to fix their website! It was maddeningly clomplicated to use. Too bad.

Did takeout from RTP for three nights straight while staying in golden and visiting the parks Golden. Absolutely delicious - the way they transferred the flavors is incredible, not to mention the generous amount of toppings and crisp flaky crust 😍 Recommend the vegetarian - Amazing Chipotle, Samosa Pie and veggie smokehouse. You can do half and half flavors to try more.
