Turning Point Restaurant Golden BC

Stopped in for a late supper on our recent road trip. Service was good and price for 2 adults and a youth was comparable to a typical fast-food drive through. Definitely stopping again on the way home. Sicilian pizza is really goid if anybody is interested

Had Prime Rib. We stay at the Prestige Hotel. The girl at the front desk suggested it to us. It is one of the best place to eat in in Western Canada.

Staff is friendly, atmosphere is excellent, I had the French onion soup and poutine, both came out piping hot. Found both dishes very salty, other than that great place to eat. Please add a lower tip recommendation 18% to 30% 🤯 seems insane to me.

Ordered take out from a hotel so obviously we don't have plates, Cutlery, napkins, condiments etc. Chicken strips and fries for the kids, hard fries, no ketchup or napkins, strips were okay but not much flavor. TP burgers for the adults. Greasy! Again fries were not edible. We stop in Golden often but this was the first time ordering from this restaurant. Never again. The delivery was fast and the guy delivering was great!

The meal and the coffee are so good, I nearly cried. It’s hard to find a decent meal these days, and this place didn’t disappoint! The avocado toast and the pumpkin cold brew made my day!

Went for their prime rib special. The prime rib was perfection. The service was top notch, the restaurant was clean and classy looking. The waitress went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our dinner. I will visit again the next time I’m in Golden.

My tuna bowl was tasty but not used to have such a mix of vegetables and salad. Healthy though!

I ate here back in June and I am still thinking about the butter chicken I had. Five months later and I crave this butter chicken still, I hope this helps everyone decide to eat here! I am cracking it all the way from Pennsylvania.

We were driving around Golden and decided to try this place for the first time...Fantastic- it has a friendly atmosphere, excellent service with great recommendations and good and tasty food...we will be stopping there again when we go through Golden.

Had the TP classic steak dinner. The steak was thin, but cooked medium rare like I requested, only issue was it was overly salty. I know it was montreal steak seasoning but seemed extra salty.

The cripy loaded mashed potatos came as 2 potato spring rolls with sour cream bacon bits and onion on top of them, never had that before. It was tasty, but a baked or double baked potato would have been better.

The young man serving me was good, kept my water filled, when I let him know about the steak he offered to have another one made. I said no as I ate over half of the one I had.

Place seems a bit dated tables a little warn, not big deal.

If steak wasn't over salty, I would have gave the food 4 stars instead of 3.
