I've been coming here for years, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. The food is consistently incredible, always fresh, and packed with flavour.
Tonight, I went in on a crazy busy Friday, I didn’t mind waiting an extra ten minutes for my order because all good things take time. When my food was ready, they ran it out to me with a free gyoza as a gesture for the wait, which was such a thoughtful touch. It made my night and it was so delicious.
The owners and staff are lovely people who are always so kind. Highly recommend eating here!!

On our way back from Roseland to Vancouver, we stumbled upon Sushi Ocean Dream in Grand Forks, and it turned out to be an absolute gem! This charming spot exceeded all our expectations, offering fresh, delicious sushi and a welcoming atmosphere that made it the perfect pit stop on our journey.
The menu had a fantastic variety, from classic rolls to more creative options that showcased the chef's talent and passion. Every dish was prepared with precision, and the fish was incredibly fresh – rivaling what you’d find in some of Vancouver’s top sushi spots. The Ocean Dream Roll stood out as a must-try, blending flavors and textures beautifully. We also loved their miso soup and tempura, which were warm, comforting, and perfectly executed.
The service was friendly and attentive, with staff going out of their way to ensure we had a great dining experience. Despite being a small-town restaurant, the quality and presentation felt top-notch.
If you’re traveling through Grand Forks, don’t miss the chance to stop by Sushi Ocean Dream. It’s a hidden treasure that offers a delightful break from the road and a meal that rivals big-city sushi. Highly recommended!

Delicious food with fresh ingredients and amazing flavors! Nice family run business with kind professional staff. We're from Vancouver where we have an abundance of Japanese restaurants so we were a bit skeptical about going to a Japanese restaurant in a small town in the interior but we saw all the great reviews and thought we'd give it a shot. We were very pleasantly surprised and will definitely come back every time we're in Grand Forks! Highly recommend Sushi Ocean Dream!

I have eaten a lot of sushi over the years and this place is up there. Consistently high quality. Tempura always fresh. Better food than most restos in the Lower Mainland. Nice people too.

It's a sushi restaurant in a small rural town .. rolls plus other items like teriyaki etc . Some unusual combinations, for example, I've never had tomatoes in sunomono. Having said that dinner isoptions in Grand Forks are limited so if you want something other than burger or pub fare worth a try. Lunch options are broader

This was our first time here and whilst it wasn't the fastest service, that didn't matter. We were on vacation, with our family and relaxing together. But most importantly, when the food arrived it was fantastic! I always want to pump up small restaurants like this, but this food was fantastic, especially considering you're 6 hours inland! ??
