“I love this little Cafe. It reminds me of the cafes in Montana. Delicious Tiger Spiced Chai latte. Made perfectly every time.Dietary restrictions: They have lactose free options.”
“Amazing food, great service, friendly and cost atmosphere and you can play as many board games as you like for $5 all day! They have a great selection of games and it’s a really fun place to hangout, highly recommended!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of options for gluten free folks!”
“This is hands down my favorite place to eat in Grand Forks. Nowhere else can you get the old world Doukhobor charm and authentic cuisine this valley is known for. The service is top notch and the Borscht is the best I have ever had, very similar to the Old Yale Hotel recipe, which was legendary. Their homemade ginger pear juice is unique and refreshing, and their ground beef voreniki with grated cheddar and sour cream is an original creation that never disappoints. My favorite go to is the Honey Garlic Chicken Caesar Salad, which I have been enjoying now for over 10 years, always delicious, I never tire of it. Portions are generous, service is excellent, food is satisfying and scrumptious. Be sure to plan for lunch at the Borscht Bowl on your next visit to Grand Forks.”
“Delicious, well made, beautifully crafted sweet and savoury delights. A must-see spot in Grand Forks! So good!Dietary restrictions: Got a gluten free, dairy free tart. ? Looks so good, tastes so good. Lots of gluten free options as well.”
“Love their food, they have the best homemade wontons i’ve ever had. Not local to Grand Forks but I do crave their food everyday. Always happy to support this small family business! Highly recommend! Was reading reviews before I decided to put in a review and looks like “mill house n” just complains about everything being expensive. Eating out is a luxury, if you can’t afford it dont eat out”
“What we had while in town was all excellent, homemade, home-cooked goodness. All their sauces and dressings are made from scratch. Their spaghetti sauce is the best I have ever tasted. I got an order to go for on the road before we left town. It comes with garlic toast made with fresh baked perfect Italian loaf with a delightfully light crispy crust and soft inside. It's real good bread. Fantastic homemade pies are not too sweet at all and are packed with fresh picked local fruit. The couple who own and run the restaurant, Mike and Andree, are lovely, friendly people who will make you feel welcomed and right at home. I can't wait to go back. I didn't get a chance to try their pizza which I noticed was flying out the door!”
“We have enjoyed sushi all over Canada and this is some of the best sushi we have ever had. Definitely will be back.Vegetarian options: Vegetable yaki soba was excellent. House salad was fresh and plentiful.”
“The guy is awesome he made us a corn cheesy bread and Indian style butter chicken pizza and both were brilliant, the gas station candy is another bonus will definitely stop here again.”
“I am loving what the new owners of the 3rd Street Bakery are bringing to our community. They are a family owned and operated bakery. It feels so good to enter a place where you will be greeted by kind and welcoming smiles along with the aromas of fresh baking. They are bringing a wonderful mix of both traditional and new upbeat choices for us.Have you tried their Pizza? WOW,if not, it is a must.Hint order ahead. The Pizza will be hot and ready Friday morning about 11ambut be sure to get there early since it goes fast! I mean really fast, and once you try it you will understand why. I have not tried to pick one up and bake it at home but once again order ahead.,what a great option for us!I was so very pleased to find a few choices with 'less sugary' options as well.”
“Stopped for dinner on our way through from Kelowna to Trail with some family. The food was amazing for a great price, we are already planning a trip back. The waitress was great but seemed like she like she might have been in over her head a little with the business of the place but she did okay and was kind. The ambiance was typical of any pub, nothing special but certainly nothing to complain about. We will 100% be back sometime in the not too distant future.”
“Quiet but delicious & plentiful food. Was fresh & very well priced. Super clean. We will certainly do this again.Parking: At least 20 spots or more for parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking at the front door. Large parking lot”
“We’ve just bought the best latte ever. We are heading to Nelson from Vancouver and stopped by Grand Forks, and this coffee shop. We really liked it. I suggest everyone.”
“It was delicious ?. Second time passing throw there and had to stop in . The little girl brought us the menu and 2 little boys took out order. The food is the best I have tried . Well be going there again .”
“Tastes similar to the one I had in Toronto. During quarantine when I was trapped in Toronto, I had Tims every morning, it was delicious! Egg wraps tasted better in Toronto but Coffee tastes better here! Asides from that the lighting was well lit and staff were friendly, 100% would recommend!”
“We were just passing through on vacation and we couldn’t be happier with the location, service was great and ambiance is spectacular in the old Railroad Station House. We’ll be back again on our next vacation. The food was great!”
“Just passing through for breakfast and want to mention the amazing service from James. Can't remember the last time I had someone this friendly!! Bacon was cooked perfectly, I wish all A&W's were like here.”
“Stopped here on our road trip and it was one of the cleanest well organized subways I've been too. The sandwich tasted so fresh and delicious! Thank you guys for being awesome ?”
“We were served in the drive-through lane by a very pleasant server . The DQ flavor is unique and more like a home grilled patty. Very good. The French fries were fresh, hot, and perfect .”
“Can I give it six stars? Everything was perfect. Relaxed vibe. The servers were relaxed but attentive. The food was phenomenal. Lots of variety on the menu from what we thought would be just another sports bar. We had tacos (to die for), wings (so many choices and the hoisin was great), and a Goat/beet salad (hearty and perfect for winter). There is a great selection of draught beer and mixed drinks as well. It checked all of our boxes.”
