“We are big chinese food fans we are at home but during our two weeks in Canada, this was our one and only place we chose. Located in a quiet downtown core, with street parking. Nothing to write home about for the decor. Full bar available. They mention lunch and dinner buffets on the website but we saw no sign of that during our visit.

For a rather small spot, the menu is wide ranging with many unique offerings among the proteins. Also many noodle and vegetarian options. Even some dim sum dishes. We are partial to a good dumpling and while I wouldn't call them mind blowing, the pork dumplings were a perfectly adequate starter. Made in house possibly as they offer frozen bags of them to take home.

I personally am a big fan of egg foo young and they had numerous choices here. We went with the House Special which included seafood, pork , and lots of vegetables. Huge portion perfectly seasoned with a delicious sauce. Some for tomorrow. The other dish we chose was the Beef with Two Mushrooms which was the star of the show. Beef was cooked to perfect tenderness with an excellent sauce. May be more than two types of mushrooms and if you like them, do try this if you visit. Again, leftovers here too. The service was very personable and attentive. If chinese sounds good during your time here, definite winner. Recommended.”

“Your typical sports bar meets a bit of pub. Decent food, salad was a safe bet, as were the sweet potato fries and quesadillas. Fries in typical undercooked (for European liking) style. Service was not too attentive.”

You can at least get a nice balanced meal here with vegetables.

I got the combo plate with chicken chop suey beef chop suey and chicken fried rice. Tons of food. Everything is 20 bucks these days for a plate. And at least for 20 bucks you get a large helping.”
