We got the masala bowl and the roaster panini. It was really delicious even though we had to wait about half an hour since it was lunch time. When we left there was a much longer line to get food. It’s probably the best spot to grab a bite in Grand Forks.
Love the wooden spoon but breakfast this morning was uncharacteristically disappointing. Had the chilaquiles bowl and there was little evidence of salsa verde or chimichurri. It was basically fried eggs on tortilla chips with cilantro. Not sure if this is normal for chilaquiles but, if it is, I’d steer clear and order one of their Benedict’s. Coffee is great and service is good (mind you nobody checked on us to see how breakfast was). Sorry, should’ve taken a photo. But...
Going to the wooden spoon for breakfast or lunch isn’t just a great option, it’s an absolute necessity when visiting the kootenays. It is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited. A very easy 5/5.
