Location location location! Understaffed. Food is edible.

We stayed at the resort & had HH the first day, which was excellent. The 2nd day, we came back from the pool with our robes on & stopped in to catch the last 15 mins of HH. We were immediately humiliated & turned away, because we had our robes on, completely covered. Consequently, we didn't bother coming back down due to the way it was handled & went to another place. I can respect being required to have real clothes on, but to be yelled at in front of other patrons, wasn't cool considering the resort allowed people walking around in robes. Maybe put up a sign before humiliating hotel guests.

Dani and her coworker we’re so welcoming and hospitable. Sitting on the patio with our drinks and truffle fries was a very pleasant experience. We look forward to our next visit!

Worst drink and food ever the service is good but my 6 years old kid know how cook better food. We tried almost the full menu nobody was happy

Excellent beer, food and service. Sometimes on a slow day well behaved dogs are allowed on the patio 👍🍻😎

We had star steak with gravy instead. The steak was cooked decent (a touch over done as we had asked for medium) and the gravy was flavourful. We had the prawns which were good. The calamari was decent but not great. The cased salad was ok. Needed more flavour and also cheese. The lava cake was excellent. The lemonade had a weird taste- would not recommend that. The server was nice but they were understaffed and needed more people to help as the service was slow as a result

Garlic butter prawns were fantastic and the Bellini was amazing - definitely recommend. My husband asked for his steak medium rare and although it came out overcooked, the servers rectified the situation and brought out a medium rare steak shortly after. Only feedback was that our dirty plates were still sitting in front of us even after we had asked for the bill and paid. Overall, food and drinks were amazing and full of flavour and the Live piano music was a bonus!

Lots of money for nothing at all

Average west coast cuisine. Nothing out of ordinary. Tired of this type of restaurants where you get mediocre steak or burger & fries.

To start… our server, Jamie was exceptional!
Our drinks were very reasonably priced compared to the other restaurants/lounges in Harrison. The food was amazing!!! I ordered the Clubhouse sandwich with a salad in place of fries and my salad came out with fresh springs, cucs, fresh strawberries & goat cheese. I could only eat 1/2 my sandwich after this huge salad. My husband had the burger which was so delicious! The fries were cooked perfect and the gravy was the best we’d ever tasted. The atmosphere was so relaxing … looking out at the lake and feeling a wonderful breeze. We’ve been to Harrison many times and just found this amazing place! I highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back! Thanks to all the staff for making our experience at The Island Bar & Patio so memorable!

Tasty food and good views.

We used to be regular guests when we used to live close to the Canadian border. We used to enjoyed and love that place. We were so happy that we were able to get back and enjoy the beautiful resort for my birthday. I had the most sad experience in the bar. I ordered a salad and it was very good, when I have eaten like 1/2 of i I founded a black, long and straight hair in my plate. By the way, my hair is blond and curly and my husband’s hair is very short. I called our female waiter (she had a long black hair ponytail, blue eyes and she said she is been working there for like 20 something years, her name is Susan) to show her the hair in the plate. The most rude comment from her was: “maybe is yours..”ICouldn’t believe what she said…At that moment I should’ve asked for the manager but I didn’t want to make a bigger deal and finish my birthday with a bitter taste on my mouth.I’m a person that ALWAYS write good reviews but this was very bad..I wish I could put 5 stars but with that kind of service of that waiter I can’t.
