Really nice fish & chips
if you want massive pieces of fish this is diffenently the place
Food was so yummy and fresh tasting. Reasonable prices, big portions, and John even gave both me and my boyfriend an extra piece for free! Nice shaded tables outside, walkable from the hotels.
Big portion but food was bland. Ordered 2 piece cod and fries it came with 3 pieces and a side of fries and salad. The fish was bland absolutely no flavor, no salt it wasn't good.
Exactly what I wanted. I was able to order as soon as I walked up to the window. 5-7 min later food was ready to go. huge portions for fish, my take out container wouldn't even close it was so full. tasted great, I even received an extra pc of fish. Thank you 😊
If you are going to come here don't expect any service, it's actually a tier below fast food. The guy doesn't say Hi, what would you like, Thank you, just nothing. When it's time to pay he just turns the machine to you doesn't tell you how much it is. When the food is ready he just leaves it on the pick up window, again with no word on what or who the order is for. The portions are generous and the prices are quite reasonable. Just order and go.
There was no service it was just get your food from a food truck kind of idea. Not much room for seating and not much coverage to keep the wind from making everything fly off your table lol kind of made me feel sick after also. No inside seats either
Great fish and chips. Good size and excellent fries. Will be back!
It was difficult to talk to the owner because he was chic, but the food was great. I like fish and chips, and the portions were delicious. For two of us, we would have had to order 2 pieces to feel like we had eaten enough. It was better to eat while sitting on the old deck than in other indoor spaces.
Even though Vancouver is by the sea, the water temperature is high so they don't eat live fish very often. They say they always eat frozen and thawed fish. So, as I was familiar with the taste of fish and chips made with live fish in Korea, I was a bit disappointed by the texture that crumbles easily. Still, in Vancouver. I don't remember ever eating seafood of this quality, so I'm giving it a generous rating.
By the way, there is no beer, so you will have to just have a drink here! If you're craving beer, you can take it out and enjoy it with beer!

Excellent fish and chips, good value, big portions, crispy batter that coats the cod well but not overly thick. Nice balanced taste. The udon was good, but stick with the fish and chips.

Bad service tried to kick us out for ordering to little
Tried to drive us away for ordering too little. We have a party of four with kids and tried to order a single meal with 2 pieces. Initially decided not to sell us the food and asked us to leave for ordering too little and taking a table.
