Naked Chicken

On Wednesday, July 23rd, my friend and I came to this restaurant around 7:30 PM, hoping to have dinner. The posted hours said they were open until 8:30 PM, but when we arrived, the doors were already closed, the place was empty, and there was no notice explaining why.

It seemed like they had closed earlier than expected. I understand that sometimes things happen, but a simple sign or update would have been very helpful. I hope they can improve communication in the future, as I was looking forward to trying their food.

Chef special (beef) was quite tasty.
Chapjae was pretty good.
Soy garlic was flavourful.
Price is is decent for a tourist town.
I would come again.

Phenomenal food and service. All homemade using family recipes. Locally owned and operated. This is a must. Naked Chicken with matcha tea.

Very disappointed services. We went for dinner in the restaurant and were the only customers. The server, likely the owner, and I exchanged smile when I ordered and paid with tips. However, after I got my five orders of food, I asked for chopsticks but she refused to gave me. Since we liked to share our food, I asked for a couple of plates or small bowls more. She refused again to give despite having all these in her working table. She said it is a take off shop. However, they have tables and chairs for customers to eat in their restaurant. She probably had a bad day and we were the unlucky customers.

The name “Naked Chicken” caught our attention when we were looking for a place to eat. 😂 So we had to try it.

Hawaiian Mild Chicken was amazing. Tasted like I was eating a Hawaiian Pizza except it had chicken and rice cakes. 😋 I had it with the combo which included a Lemon Ice Tea.

Will definitely be back to try their other items.

A kids bowl of plain noodle soup (tastes exactly like the instant pho packet noodles) was $13. Enough said.

Absolutely fantastic. A real family run shop with really delicious food. Chill vibes inside, everyone just enjoying their food. Family could not be friendlier. Mains come with an ice tea, so you dont need to order an extra - it did not stop me though.

Pretty mid place overall. Food's pretty overpriced in my opinion: a small plate of chicken is 25 dollars, and a bowl of ramen is like 20 dollars after tax (and you barely get much with it, just a couple pieces of meat). Place is clean but pretty mediocre for ambience. Staff were decent, except that she got the order wrong. I wouldn't recommend this place over the basecamp burger or poutine, unless you want Asian food.

Got the soy garlic stir fry and it was incredible. Service was very good and friendly

The fried rice was okay, but the amount of chicken was not enough and two-thirds of it was cabbage, so it was a bit disappointing for the cost-effectiveness, and the jumyeok rice didn't come together.

What a delectable find in Harrisson! I was sure what to order and got the Naked Chicken, which is stir fried chicken with a Korean twist. It is mixed with a kimchi-like sauce, mini roasted tteokbokki (Korean mochi), and pickles. I also had the peach tea - I think the order blended an entire peach into the tea. It was one of the most peachy drinks I had! Exceeded expectations!

The place was charming, clean, and vibrant. I tried two noodle dishes, both of which were delicious. Personally, I would have liked more vegetables.
