We visit Hope often and always make a point of supporting local businesses. Unfortunately, this is not one we will be returning to.
We were in town for Brigade Days and decided to stop in for a meal. We were told food would take about an hour, which we were fine with given the busy weekend. However, it ended up being an hour and a half, and one meal never even arrived until after everyone else had finished eating.
The service left much to be desired. Our table sat with empty drinks for nearly 30 minutes before we were able to flag down our server. When the food finally arrived, only one of the eight meals was decent. Some of the items felt as if they were cold and reheated in the deep fryer again.
Here’s what we experienced: • A beef dip that was dry • A patty melt with fries that were extremely overcooked, along with an overcooked patty • Two orders of chicken strips and fries that were so overcooked we couldn’t even break the strips in half (completely inedible) • A poutine that didn’t arrive until the end of the meal • A salad that came with a bread tag in it • A burger that was also overcooked
Management did offer 20% off our bill, which we accepted, but given the state of the chicken strips in particular, those meals should have been fully comped. We wouldn’t have fed them to our dogs, let alone even serve them to individuals.
We didn’t mind waiting for food—it was the quality (or lack thereof) that was truly disappointing, along with sub-par service. After this experience, we’ll be choosing other local establishments moving forward.

Great place to eat/drink . A thank you to our favorite waitress Melina, She is welcoming, professional and efficient . A few days ago I was in medical distress and Melina took charge of the situation. She was calm, comforting and took excellent care of me. ... thank you Melina!

Sweet little gem in Hope. Great food, great portions and great beers all for a reasonable price!
It's a local bar with exceptional decor, outstanding artisanal cocktails, meals with shaved truffle garnish and maybe I just need another rum and coke. It's a simple place actually and if go for just a good time.... And you will. ;-)

We were visiting Hope BC. We were looking for a Pub n found King Pin. Tim the bar tender was the greatest. He was friendly, his Service was above n beyond. We returned three days in a row n he remembered us n our drinks.Thank you.

I tried the lamb shank, seasonal vegetables and roasted potatoes. The lamb was fall off the bone the vegetables were truly delicious and the price was right.
