We went twice during our trip to Hornby and both visits were fantastic! We had the breakfast bowls, and they were amazing—home-fried hash browns that were perfectly crispy, fresh veggies, and fluffy scrambled eggs. My husband loved his too, and all our kids enjoyed their waffles. Great food, generous portions, and a really welcoming atmosphere—definitely a spot we’ll keep coming back to!

Forage Farm and Kitchen is a lovely spot with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care — the farm-to-table approach really shines here. Service is attentive and friendly, definitely a 5/5 for both food quality and hospitality. The place has a cozy, rustic charm that makes it perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends. Prices are fair for the quality you receive, and portions are satisfying. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that seating can be limited at busy times, and reservations are often necessary if you want to avoid waiting. Still, it’s a great experience overall and a place I’d happily come back to.

We ordered the veggie delight, the potatoes were black on one side but the sandwich was superb. We definitely would go back if in this area again

Best burger and fresh salad.

Super slow service. Food is very mediocre. My order came with side hash. Portion was TINY and all of it burnt black. Kind of felt like it was a practical joke. The staff appear to be all teens so maybe it was a joke. I would stay clear of this place if I were you.

We were here 2 days ago for lunch. The food was okay, but the wait was 30 minutes.
Today we went back, stood in front of the counter for 5 minutes. No one asked what I wanted even though the rush of lunch hour was over and most tables were empty. I didn’t know if they were just too tired to take my order so I just walked away.

Forage is one of the best spots to eat at on Hornby. All ingredients are extremely fresh and the food is incredible. My boyfriend and I went for lunch and enjoyed it so much we went back for breakfast the next day! The atmosphere is very warm and everyone is very kind.

Wow. Don’t sleep on this place. This quaint little restaurant serves big flavour and top notch quality. The pork belly sandwich was perfect; the pork belly had this delectable maple glaze/ marinade and was not oily. The vegetables were farm fresh and bursting with flavour and don’t forget the fresh, soft bun. Yum! My wife’s burger was so tasty with the same fresh veg and handmade patty. I’d highly recommend anyone visiting Hornby looking for a quality meal bursting with flavours to make the stop. You won’t be disappointed.

Bowls were incredible. Great portions, flavours and presentation. Fresh ingredients, lots of colour. Super friendly staff, great atmosphere. Keep doing what you're doing!
