Lucie has been dishing out amazing Mexican food for over 12 years at this super fun location. You may have to wait if it’s super busy but it’s worth the wait! Prices are still reasonable and having food like this in a paradise like Hornby Island is priceless on a sunny day.
A walk on Helliwell Park loop trail, then lunch at Vorizo Mexican cafe made an extra special outing for me. Vorizo veggie taco was sooo good. On a small, open soft taco mine was piled up with chopped veggies on top of mashed black beans, rice, and topped with spicy sauce. Ate half of it with a fork before there was room to fold it for hand-held mouthfuls. ?

The vegetarian taco is amazing. We grab a couple of these on our first and last day on Hornby. The staff are so great, the seating area is cool. We have to try something else off the menu, but the tacos are that good it's hard to stray.
