I found the vibe of this place really nice and spacious. However, here’s my honest opinion:
I tried one of their in-house craft beers, which was decent, but I was disappointed to find it wasn’t a full pint. They advertise 18oz for $9 — not the standard 20oz pint — and for that price, it’s getting steep. On top of that, they pass the LST (liquor sales tax) onto the customer instead of including it in the listed price. By the time the GST was added, it came to over $10 for an 18oz beer before even adding a tip.
The two things I did like were the overall vibe of the place and our server, Cheridian (I believe that was her name). She was fantastic — one of the best servers I’ve had in a long time. Very attentive, checked on us often, and kept our water topped up the entire time.

Bright Eye Brewing is a great local spot that’s best known for its Ota beer, but I decided to try one of their food items instead. I ordered the beef and duck fat sandwich, and it was perfectly cooked. The menu isn’t very large, but that’s understandable since it’s a brewery, and what they do offer is clearly made with care and quality.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and our waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive, which really added to the experience. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back, or just the good vibes. I’ll definitely be returning!

The food was amazing. I had the Oahu Burger and fries and my wife had the tuna salad. The burger had an amazing flavour with pineapple and teriyaki and a flavourful brioche. The salad had plenty of tuna and was amazing!
I had a flight of beers, again they were very good. Nice and balanced flavour.
The atmosphere inside was very loud. We chose to sit on the patio or we wouldn’t have been able to hear well.
Service was good, but after we paid our bill, we sat for over an hour and no one came back. We would have for sure had another round or two but were ignored.
All in all, we really enjoyed the experience, the food and the price wasn’t awful.

One star review for the sole reason of removing the Smashville Spicy Chicken Sandwich from the menu and it'll stay that way until it returns. Like seriously....it was probably the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Friends all agreed. What are we doing here people....seriously?
Happy hour burger and their house IPA - perfection.

Great food, especially the smash burgers! Beer was solid too. The fries needed more salt but I know that if I’d asked our server for some she would’ve brought it. This place is so big but it’s also welcoming and comfortable.
The only downside was some guy near us eating wings and pizza who needed to suck on each of his ten fingers after every bite. Horrible to hear and see! I feel like the patio server clocked this and tried to mitigate it by dropping off napkins a couple times but he did not clue in!

It's nice to bring my children here even if they are a bit wild. Very thankful this place exists!

This brewery was recommended to us for their beers and the in house ketchup sauce and boy o boy, it didn't disappoint! We were on our way back from camping at North of Kamloops and we decided to stop here for our lunch before heading back to Vancouver. It's a big space and the interiors are rustic with some modern layout and artwork. The food and beer is excellent. I would have liked to see some more beer options for a brewery. For food, we had sandwiches which were well crafted and were flavourful. I loved the fried chicken sandwich. The sandwich is served with a side of crispy fries and the in house ketchup which was absolutely smashing! The only downside to this place was their service. They took more than an hour to get us our sandwiches.

Lovely little place on the north shore of Kamloops. I tried their hazy IPA. It was great. The halibut sandwich was good too. They have gluten free options as well.
