I must say this was the best meal I have eaten in a long time ❤️ I ordered the Lentil meatballs and never wanted this delicious meal to end 🤩 Apparently it was brand new on the menu (last weekend) and I hope it’s there to stay! Cant wait to go back when I visit Kamloops again!

A group of us attended for my mother's 70th birthday dinner. The service was superb. Our waiter was knowledgeable about both the meal orders and their various flavors and preparation methods as well as the wine and drink pairings. The food was scrumptious and filling and our group was happy with the little nook we were given for a private dining experience. We were a little loud so I do hope we didn't negatively impact the atmosphere for other guests at the establishment. Beyond brilliant experience. Well done.

I had the misconception that The Brownstone was expensive but it's prices are competitive with Moxies, Sharks club, even Carlos O'Brian's! The food was phenomenal. I love how they use seasonal vegetables and keep the wine list as local as possible. Lots of BC wines. The atmosphere was very friendly and comfortable. It seems like everyone is happy to be working there and they're very knowledgeable about the wines and food. I'm looking forward to going again and supporting local.

Been to this restaurant twice, once in 2023 and once in 2025, I'll have to say the food in 2023 was better. This time the lamp was overcooked and the seafood dish came out somewhat cold. Service was good as always, I like their courtyard and the heritage building. Really nice in the summer.

Very disappointing experience tonight. Reservation at 530 . Seated right away. The server came around to ask about drinks and we asked for one minute with the drink menu. Following that, 30 FULL minutes went by when the bartender finally saw how long we were waiting for an initial drink. She apologized and brought the drinks right away. We waited quite a long time for the food as well. At other establishments when the service is beyond a reasonable slow amount , usually there is some offer to rectify. But nope. We paid for our drinks and everything is full , no complimentary dessert or any sort of apology for lengthy wait time. . Will not be back .

Food was good, the salmon dish was a bit bland, while the other red snapper was good. The elk meatballs and potatoes were perfect and highly recommend. Service was good and inside was bit warm inside on a hot day

During our recent visit, we enjoyed a satisfying dining experience. We ordered the grilled pork loin chop and the pan-roasted chicken breast—both dishes were excellently prepared. The pork loin was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and the chicken breast was tender and flavorful.
We finished with the chocolate mousse for dessert, which was a rich and creamy. A perfect end to a great meal.
Had a lovely anniversary dinner here. Wonderful food, great service, in a building with a ton of character, just steps from the waterfront in Kamloops. Strongly recommend!

My wife and I were passing through town on our way to Vancouver and decided to stop at Brownstone. Checking out the historic exterior we were glad we did. We had to wait a few minutes when we arrived to be seated for our 8 o'clock reservation but our food and drinks came out lightning fast and it didn't matter. We started with two cherry cola whiskey drinks which we loved. It was my wife's favorite cocktail in a long time. The chocolate mousse took the cake for the hottest item of the night but the Salmon was a close second.
