5 stars across the board! We finally went here after countless years of walking by and wondering, and I’m so glad we did.The food was phenomenal, and the drinks were just as great. Not just that, but the service made us feel particularly cared for. They really go the extra mile to make sure you feel at home.

New Year's Eve dinner did not disappoint! Absolutely everything that hit the table was spectacular. From the first sip of the cocktails to the last bite of dessert. Everything was perfect. Could not have picked a better spot to spend our last meal of 2023

Very good food and a sincere effort to support local farmers. The only downside is that they don't serve local lamb!

Who wouldn't recommend the Brownstone! Awesome food. Beautiful, historic location. It can't be beat. I always have steak at the Brownstone; I can't resist. The service is, without exception, impeccable.

Based on Tripadvisor reviews we made a reservation for this restaurant long before we left the UK. Upon arrival the reception from the host was warm and hospitable and, as it was a warm evening, we were quickly shown to an outside table within the garden patio area. This is a lovely setting next to the C19 building, under a leafy awning illuminated with lights. So far, so delightful. The sangria cocktails were lovely. Also have to say, as a novel experience, the elk meatloaf came as a pleasant surprise while the flourless dark chocolate and raspberry cake went down a treat. My wife’s duck however was a bit raw and tough to say the least. However, what marred the evening was the service. Our waitress was cheery enough when present, but sadly this was not that often. She spent most of the evening chatting to another party and completely forgot about us. We were left long after everyone else had gone home which was unnecessary. Also, unfortunately, the manager was never seen again that evening. This, coupled with the constant stream of noisy trains (yes, I know, it’s Kamloops!) that pass close by the restaurant, did rather distract from what should have been a lovely night out.

Absolute gem of a find. Quaint restaurant in a heritage building with a delicious selection of cocktails and wine, and the food menu is unique and extremely tasty. The service was outstanding.I'm so glad I found this place for our first night in Kamloops. ❤️
