I was disappointed with Cordo Resto & Bar. I booked the private room for 12 people for my dad’s birthday. The private room shown on the website with a beautiful fireplace is a far cry from the Mt. Paul room on the 2nd floor that we ended up in. On a scale of 1-10, the ambiance was about a negative 2. Very stark white and institutional with bad lighting. This immaculate bar and restaurant has wowed me every time. It has always been such a treat for a date night, or out on the town experience. The food is something I daydream about for months after I’ve eaten it and the drinks have always been delicious. My favourite and most memorable mixologist is Ashley, who always makes amazing recipes and has great referrals (based off of my experiences) and idealizing stories of which some of her beverages are made after.
My husband and I went for dinner for our anniversary. We had the prime rib Saturday special. It was outstanding. We also had the calamari as an appetizer which was also very tasty. The service from Talon was excellent and the restaurant manager also kept checking in. We totally enjoyed our experience. Also thank you for the complimentary desert for our anniversary 😊
