Having read reviews before dining here, I was expecting slow European style service and was prepared by not arriving on an empty stomach. We had received our appetizer of Arancini within 30 minutes of sitting down and our mains at 90 minutes, greeted with bannetons of fresh focaccia throughout our stay. It was actually very refreshing to sit and sip on wine with my wife and talk extensively between courses. The food itself was some of the freshest and most flavourful I've ever had at a restaurant. Another thing I noticed was how hot the food was when it got to our table, it came straight out of the pan/oven and directly to our table, it was something special. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are not in a rush and are looking for some incredible authentic Italian food. I can't wait to go back.

Di Muzio is such a gem. I’ve eaten here once before and recently joined one of their new cooking classes — both were excellent. Claudia, the owner, opened the class by sharing her philosophy on food, and it really stuck with me. She sources as much as possible from Europe and cooks everything slowly, from scratch, because she cares deeply about quality and real ingredients.

Some reviews mention slow service, but to me that’s part of the experience. Our North American food culture expects everything fast, and what Claudia is doing is the opposite — thoughtful, intentional, and worth the wait.

The cooking class was so much fun. We made fresh pasta, a simple from-scratch sauce, arancini, salad, and warm bread. It was relaxed, generous, and a great way to get to know Claudia, who is clearly passionate about what she’s building.

If you appreciate authentic, slow, high-quality food, Di Muzio is absolutely worth visiting. I’ll definitely be back.

Small place with a small menu. Had rice balls, gnocchi with meat sauce, and cannoli. Fresh bread was included and served throughout. Scratch kitchen. Absolutely everything I had tasted amazing. Good took some time as it’s a small operation but it is very well worth the wait. Everything tasted fabulous…especially the cannoli. Would gladly come here again next time I’m in town. Server was very friendly and paid careful attention to us even though she was stretched between all the tables.

2 hrs and 45 minutes later and after watching 2 tables who were seated 1 hr after we had sat down get their food before us, ours arrived. The food was ok but not an almost 3 hr wait good. Sad to say this was a miss. Server tried to salvage the experience but I didn't feel valued as a customer.

We came here for our anniversary. It was amazing. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. We went right at 5 so we were the only ones there. I loved the music and the decor felt like we were in Italy. Would highly recommend.

Di music is a fantastic restaurant- one of mine and my wife's very favorites in Kamloops. Real authentic Italian food and experience. Highly recommend

As other reviewers have commented, service and food here is slow (sat down at 7:30 and was served main courses at 9:30). Further, the service style might not be quite what North Americans are used to.

Despite this, we had a very relaxed meal and the food was good, particularly appetizers. Truly authentic Italian food. Also offers GF pasta. Pizzas are HUGE so expect to take some away or maybe share.

Food was all handmade, the table bread that was brought stood out the most and was the best salted focaccia I’ve ever had, perfect atmosphere for a date night or family dinner with low lighting and a homey setting. It’s not a place you would go for to get quick food as it
takes a little bit for the main dishes to come out but that’s expected for such a quality meal, I would be prepared to spend a little talking time while waiting for your order.

The entire experience was extremely disappointing. We were only told that there was one person working in the kitchen after we were seated. This should have been communicated to us before we sat down so we could decide whether to stay or go somewhere else. We ended up waiting 75 minutes for our entrees. I thought at least if the wait was so long, the food must be good, but the pasta sauce tasted like canned sauce.

This was the best Italian meal we have ever had in Kamloops. We loved that everything is made from scratch, and I mean EVERYTHING. Non-GMO ingredients too. The food was absolutely amazing and even the bread was unreal. Do not come here and expect to be in and out in an hour. There is one chef in the kitchen and usually only one server. If you don't have an hour and a half to relax and enjoy the atmosphere and the meal, you shouldn't come. This is a European experience not a Wendy's drive through. Best to arrive when they first open if you hope to not wait too long. We will absolutely be back!

The waiter seated us then ignored us while waiting on guests who arrived after us. He brought no water etc and avoided eye contact. To be fair he did comp our drinks and apologized.
