Great beer, great tacos. Friends had a big plate of nachos. Dakota was great with dietary restrictions. Will be back next time we're in Kamloops.
The chili nachos with brisket was delicious! It says 2-4 people but man that was a massive serving! There was a good selection of beers as well.
Me and my partner wanted nachos after a day at the lake. One of us forgot our ID, we sat down then got turned away because of no ID. Fair enough. Just the way the lady did it felt rude and unapologetic. I’ll stick to Bright Eye.
Love it here
I was visiting Kamloops for the day, and Iron Road was a great place to stop in for a lunch option.
It has an adequate amount of seating inside, and I didn't notice a patio. I sat at the bar and ordered a flight to start. Their beer selection is fantastic. Nothing too happy, nor nothing too high in alcohol content, which makes me think that they know how to brew good beer.
And I was right. The Beer Run Pale Ale was my preferred choice, but there were great options of all the beers I had.
The food menu mainly consisted of hand-held and lighter meals, which I think pairs well with beer as I don't like too heavy food options when drinking. The quesdillas I chose were great. Lots of flavour and paired with their in-house hot sauce (which was too hot) I was very satisfied after eating.
The service was great. I spoke with a very friendly server who was quick to look after me, and it was rather busy for a Thursday lunch, and I didn't feel I had to wait that long.
If you are visiting during the week between 9-5, parking is limited outside the brewery as it's located in a strip mall and not on its own. There appears to be free parking on the street during these hours, which is nice.
Next time I get back to Kamloops, I will visit again.
Stopped in here to try the beers - they had a great selection of more than 10 different beers!
The quality of the beer was great and I’d definitely return in the future.
We had the nachos and it was enormous and very tasty.
Our favorite nachos and tacos in town!
Cool and cozy space with creative beers and local wine. A great spot for lunch or casual dinner. The staff are always warm and inviting and knowledgeable in their offerings.
Street Corn Nachos and Baja Fish Taco are our tops!
Smaller brewery, very cozy and I loved their flights - the tray is very nicely designed! Good selection of beer, server was also very helpful :)
Wow. 41 dollar nachos. Ok but not worth it.
Nachos and tacos were so delicious!!
The beer with 4 flavors to choose from is also good.
It was a pleasant time, not too noisy, quiet atmosphere and friendly staff.

Excellent place to eat and drink, a family place. Good service, good beers, delicious Mexican food and the quesabirrias do not disappoint. I highly recommend it
Great beer, fantastic nachos and amazing staff, the trifecta of having a good time.
Update: same same
Had the beef brisket birria special, flavourful, with a huge portion of meat. I totally loved it. My bff had the Mexican street corn nachos with brisket added, she said they are absolutely amazing. Great Mexican option in town. Fast and friendly service. We had a great cider too! Dakota was a friendly and attentive server. 10/10 all around :)
The pulled pork nachos were absolutely incredible.
The beers were delicious too, but I really can’t say enough about the food. *Think you’re coming for the beer, actually come for the food.*
Great beer, and the nachos are indeed as amazing as the reviews say. I questioned whether they were worth the seemingly steep price ($27 for vegetarian/$34 with meat) but it’s a huge portion. My husband and I were stuffed after splitting them (and we were very hungry and are not people with small appetites lol) so $17/person for a very filling meal is pretty reasonable.
